Blackjack side bets are, as the name implies, additional bets that can be placed on the side in any standard game.
Insurance bet, Perfect Pairs, and 21+3 are the three most common side bets available at Blackjack tables, but there are several other options from which players can choose at other times. One of these is known as the Super Sevens. In this case, the player is betting on a result that is directly related to the number of sevens dealt.
For instance, if the player gets a seven right away, the payout is 3:1. If a second seven is dealt, the payout amount is determined by whether the card is suited or unsuited. A pair of suited sevens pays 100:1, but a pair of unsuited sevens pays 50:1. If the third card is also a seven, the rule repeats itself in the next round of cards, as three suited pay 5,000:1 and three unsuited pay 500:1.
