Cashmio Casino Review 2026: Closed, Not Available to US Players

Cashmio Casino closed on 24 August 2022 and never took US players. Who ran it, its MGA licence, how former players recover balances, and US alternatives.

An empty card table in an evening casino lounge

Cashmio Casino is closed and never accepted players from the United States. The casino stopped operating on 24 August 2022, when its operator moved all Cashmio accounts to a sister site, TurboVegas.com, and the USA had always been on its restricted-countries list. US readers should go straight to our US-friendly live casinos; the rest of this page records what Cashmio was, who ran it, what happened to it and what former players can do about an old balance.

Updated October 2026. Our previous review described Cashmio as an open, MGA-licensed casino with an Indian rupee welcome offer and a “Play Now” button. That is no longer true. We rebuilt this page as a status page from Cashmio’s archived terms and conditions, the TurboVegas migration notice, the Malta Gaming Authority register and the current state of the cashmio.com domain.

US-friendly alternatives to Cashmio

Cashmio was never an option for Americans. These casinos accepted US players and ran live dealer tables when we checked in October 2026. They are offshore sites without a US state licence, and each excludes some states.

No published restricted-state list; Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts issued cease-and-desist orders in 2025.

Offshore means something specific for you as a player. None of these four holds a licence from a US state, so there is no state regulator to complain to if a withdrawal stalls, and your deposits are not protected the way they are at a state-licensed casino. Keep balances modest and withdraw winnings regularly.

Eight US states have legalised online casinos, and seven markets are live: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Maine legalised a tribal-only market (LD 1164, which became law without the governor’s signature in January 2026 and took effect on 29 July 2026), but it had not launched as of October 2026. If you live in one of the seven live states, a state-licensed casino is the regulated choice. Our US live casino guide compares the options.

What happened to Cashmio

Cashmio did not collapse or vanish overnight. It was folded into another casino run by the same company. Here is the sequence, with the record behind each step.

2025 to 2026 cashmio.com becomes a Finnish-language casino information site that states it is neither a casino nor a comparison site. cashmio.com, fetched 6 October 2026

The migration notice told players that account transfers could take up to 24 hours and that instructions had been sent to each player’s registered email address. It named [email protected] and live chat as the contacts for questions.

Two background facts help explain the timing. Esports Entertainment Group (EEG), a Nasdaq-listed company, bought Bethard in summer 2021 for €16 million in cash, with further incentives capped at $27 million, according to SBC News. Then, in February 2023, EEG agreed to sell the Bethard business for roughly €9.5 million: €1.65 million in cash at closing, about €6.5 million attributed to EEG’s release from its contingent payment for the original purchase, and the buyer taking on about €1.2 million of liabilities. Consolidating small brands such as Cashmio into TurboVegas in the months before that sale fits a business that was cutting costs, although neither company published a reason for closing Cashmio.

Licence and owner: what Cashmio’s own terms said

The final version of Cashmio’s terms of use (version 3.2, latest update 20 July 2022) set out the structure clearly:

  • Brand owner: Mozebra Ltd, incorporated in Malta, company number C72296, with an address in Sliema.
  • Operator: Bethard Group Limited, incorporated in Malta, company number C69565, registered at Mezzanine Office, The George, Ball Street, Paceville, St Julian’s.
  • Licence: Malta Gaming Authority B2C Gaming Service Licence MGA/B2C/312/2015, issued on 1 August 2018.
  • Money: section 1.8 made Bethard Group Limited solely responsible for all deposits and withdrawals; game studios were only software suppliers.

This was a white label arrangement: one company owns the brand and markets it, while a licensed operator runs the accounts, payments and compliance. Earlier write-ups, including the previous version of this page, also linked Cashmio to MT SecureTrade Limited, a Gaming Innovation Group company that ran the casino after its 2015 launch. By 2022 the terms named only Mozebra and Bethard.

The Malta Gaming Authority’s online verification page for Bethard Group Limited now lists licence MGA/B2C/312/2015 with the status Surrendered. The register does not give a surrender date, and a surrendered licence is a licence handed back by the company, which is different from one suspended or cancelled by the regulator. We did not find an MGA enforcement notice naming Cashmio. TurboVegas, the site that absorbed Cashmio’s players, is today operated by a different Maltese company, Prozone Limited (C97366), under MGA licence MGA/B2C/908/2021, granted on 29 October 2021, according to its own footer in October 2026.

Did Cashmio ever accept US players?

No. Section 7.1.1 of the July 2022 terms required every account holder to confirm they were not resident in any of roughly 170 listed countries and territories. The United States was on that list, along with the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy and Portugal. Its penalty clause was blunt: “All winnings from players residing in any of these countries will be confiscated and accounts will be closed.”

The list also explains the Indian rupee offer that once appeared on our homepage. India was not on the restricted list, and the old review noted INR as an accepted currency, so Cashmio did court Indian players. Canada, New Zealand, Norway and Finland were not on the list either, which is why the casino had English (Canada), English (New Zealand), Norwegian and Finnish versions.

The successor site follows the same line. TurboVegas’s terms (version 4.2, updated 8 November 2023) list the United States as a restricted country, and a visit through a US connection in October 2026 showed a “Restricted access” overlay saying the site is not available in your country. Neither Cashmio nor TurboVegas was ever a legal or practical choice for American players.

Former Cashmio players: how to recover a balance

If you had money in a Cashmio account in August 2022, it should have moved to a TurboVegas account with the same details. Follow these steps:

  1. Do not log in at cashmio.com. The domain now hosts an unrelated information site. Never enter your old Cashmio password there or on any page that claims to be Cashmio.
  2. Contact TurboVegas support. Use live chat on turbovegas.com or email [email protected], the contacts named in the migration notice. Give your old Cashmio username, the email you registered with and your date of birth.
  3. Prepare verification documents. Cashmio’s terms required full verification of identity, home address, payment methods and, for bank payouts, SWIFT and IBAN details before funds in dormant or closed accounts were released (section 8.11).
  4. Check for dormancy fees. Under section 8.8 an account became inactive after six months without activity and dormant after twelve, and both statuses carried a monthly fee of €5 or 5% of the balance, whichever was larger. If fees have eroded your balance, ask support for a statement.
  5. Escalate if needed. Cashmio’s complaints clause (section 22) named Pardee Consulta (adrbypardee.eu) as its alternative dispute resolution body. Ask TurboVegas which ADR body applies today, since the operator has changed.

Two points on the regulator. The terms said that if a player cannot be contacted, the remaining balance goes to the Malta Gaming Authority rather than being kept by the operator. However, the MGA’s Player Support Unit stopped ruling on individual disputes on 1 April 2019, so the MGA will not mediate your claim; the route is the operator first, then an ADR body such as eCOGRA or the one the operator names.

What Cashmio offered while it was open

For readers researching the brand, here is what the archived record shows about the casino in its final years. None of it is available today.

Games and live casino studios

Section 1.4 of the terms listed the B2B suppliers behind Cashmio’s casino: Evolution, Microgaming, NetEnt, SG Digital, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, Authentic Gaming, Ganapati, Endorphina, iSoftBet (ISB Magma) and Pragmatic Play, each with its own MGA licence number. Its live casino ran on three of them: Evolution for most tables and game shows, Authentic Gaming for roulette streamed from real casinos, and Pragmatic Play Live for baccarat.

Our 2022 review counted 16 roulette variants and table limits up to $5,000 at blackjack, roulette, craps and sic bo, and $10,000 at Pragmatic’s Speed Baccarat. Evolution’s big game shows were all in the lobby: Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher, Deal or No Deal, Lightning Dice, Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt and Side Bet City, plus poker-style tables such as Live Texas Hold’em, Caribbean Stud Poker and Double Hand Casino Hold’em. The site also offered virtual sports and a large slots catalogue with jackpot and Megaways games.

Bonus rules

Cashmio was never a good casino for live dealer bonus hunters. The general bonus terms (section 17.2) sorted games into four groups:

Group Games Wagering contribution
A Slots and jackpot slots 100%
B A named list of high-volatility slots such as Dead or Alive, Blood Suckers and Mega Joker 50%
C Live roulette and live blackjack 10%
D All other table games, video poker, the rest of the live casino and “buy feature” slots 0%, and playing them with an active bonus could void it

The maximum bet with an active bonus was €10 per spin or hand (section 17.4), and deposits made with Paysafecard, Skrill or Neteller did not qualify for deposit offers (section 17.15). Our earlier review recorded a 45x bonus wagering requirement and a welcome offer that varied by country, from a 50% match up to $30 plus 10 free spins in some markets to a 100% match up to ₹20,000 for Indian players.

A quick worked example shows why live players skipped these offers. With a €100 bonus at 45x, you would need €4,500 of wagering. On slots at 100% that is €4,500 in bets; on live roulette at 10% it is €45,000; and on live baccarat or game shows it could not be cleared at all.

Banking and verification

Payment methods depended on the player’s country. Cards (Visa, Mastercard), e-wallets (Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, ecoPayz), vouchers such as Paysafecard, Trustly and bank transfer were all listed at various times, along with local methods such as Interac, iDebit, AstroPay and Pago Efectivo. The minimum deposit was 20 in the account currency. Verification was triggered at the latest once cumulative withdrawals reached €2,000, and pending withdrawals were cancelled while documents were requested. Players who won €100,000 or more and asked to withdraw more than half of it could be paid in instalments under section 9.15.

Our verdict

Cashmio was a legitimate, Malta-licensed casino with a strong Evolution-powered live lobby, held back by weak bonuses for table players and a long list of excluded countries. It is gone now: the brand closed on 24 August 2022, its players were moved to TurboVegas, and the licence it used is marked Surrendered on the MGA register. For US players nothing has changed, because Cashmio never took American customers in the first place.

If you came here looking for a Cashmio-style live casino in the US, look at what made it good: Evolution game shows, plenty of blackjack and roulette tables, and fast e-wallet payouts. State-licensed casinos in the seven live states carry Evolution tables. Outside those states, the offshore sites in our list above are the realistic options, with the risks we described. Each review linked in the table explains how we scored that site.

Cashmio FAQ

Is Cashmio Casino still open?

No. Cashmio stopped operating on 24 August 2022, when its operator Bethard Group Limited migrated Cashmio accounts to its sister casino TurboVegas.com. The cashmio.com domain later redirected to a TurboVegas welcome page and, by 2026, hosts an unrelated Finnish-language information site that says it is not a casino.

Did Cashmio accept US players?

No, never. The United States was on the restricted-countries list in Cashmio’s terms (section 7.1.1 of version 3.2, July 2022), and the terms said winnings from players in listed countries would be confiscated and accounts closed. TurboVegas, which took over Cashmio’s accounts, also lists the United States and shows a Restricted access page to US visitors.

Who owned Cashmio?

In its final terms (version 3.2, updated 20 July 2022) the Cashmio.com trademark belonged to Mozebra Ltd (Malta, C72296), and the site was operated by Bethard Group Limited (Malta, C69565) under a white label agreement, using Bethard’s Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/312/2015. Reviews from its early years name MT SecureTrade Limited as the original 2015 operator.

Was Cashmio legit?

Yes, while it operated it was a licensed casino: the Bethard Group licence MGA/B2C/312/2015 covered Cashmio, and the terms named an approved dispute body (Pardee Consulta). The MGA register now lists that licence as Surrendered, and Cashmio itself no longer exists, so there is nowhere to sign up today.

I had money in my Cashmio account. What can I do?

Cashmio balances were moved to TurboVegas accounts in August 2022. Contact TurboVegas support by live chat or [email protected] with your old Cashmio username and registered email, and expect to complete ID and address checks. If the operator does not settle a dispute, the next step is an alternative dispute resolution body, since the MGA’s Player Support Unit stopped ruling on individual disputes on 1 April 2019.

What are the best Cashmio alternatives for US players?

US players can choose a state-licensed casino in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware or Rhode Island, or an offshore site such as Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie or BetOnline. The offshore sites have no US state licence and each excludes some states, so check the terms for your state before you deposit.
