BetOnline Live Casino Review 2026: Live Tables, Bonus and Banking

BetOnline review for US players: Panama licence, VIG and Fresh Deck live tables up to $50,000, $250 Free Bet + 100 spins offer, crypto payout limits and fees.

Casino chips beside a printed terms document and a pen

BetOnline is an offshore sportsbook and casino at betonline.ag that has taken US players since the early 2000s and runs one of the larger live dealer lobbies open to Americans, with tables from Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios. It holds a gaming licence from Panama, not from any US state, so it sits outside US consumer protection. As of October 2026, new players get a “No Strings” welcome offer: 50% of the first deposit back as sportsbook Free Bets (up to $250) plus 100 casino free spins, from a $10 deposit.

Updated October 2026. We checked the welcome offer, bonus rules, licence wording, live lobby, banking limits and fees against BetOnline’s own help centre and cashier pages (viewed from a US connection), and against state regulator notices. Our earlier review said BetOnline launched in 2016. That was wrong: the brand has been online since around 2001, and BetOnline itself says its team has worked together since 1991.

What’s hot?

  • Large live dealer floor for an offshore site: more than a dozen live blackjack tables, 13 roulette tables and a dozen baccarat tables in the lobby we viewed on 6 October 2026.
  • High table limits: blackjack from $1 a hand at the low end up to $50,000 a hand at the top tables.
  • 17 cryptocurrencies for deposits and withdrawals, with crypto payouts processed within 24 hours according to BetOnline’s withdrawal table.
  • Casino Rakeback paid as cash with no rollover, on top of a VIP ladder with Level Up bonuses and reloads.
  • One wallet for sportsbook, casino, poker and racebook, so there is nothing to transfer between products.

What’s not: no US state licence, card deposits carry a processing fee, bank wire and courier check payouts are slow and costly, and regulators in Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts have ordered BetOnline to stop serving their residents.

BetOnline at a glance: our verdict

BetOnline suits a US player who wants serious live blackjack and baccarat limits, pays with crypto, and accepts the trade-off of playing with an offshore operator. The live lobby is its strongest feature. Few US-facing offshore casinos run two dedicated live studios side by side, and the high-limit blackjack seats here reach $50,000 a hand, level with the top of Bovada’s VIP range.

Weak spots are the bonus structure and fiat banking. The welcome offer leans towards the sportsbook, since the Free Bet credit cannot be used in the casino, and casino bonuses exclude baccarat and roulette entirely. Card deposits cost a fee, and non-crypto withdrawals are capped low and take days. If you live in one of the seven states with licensed online casinos, a state-regulated site is the safer choice.

Score breakdown, out of 5: live dealer games 4.5, game variety 4.0, banking 3.8 (excellent crypto, weak fiat), bonuses 3.5, support 4.0, safety and licensing 3.0. The overall 4.0 weights the live casino most heavily because that is what this site reviews.

First impressions and opening an account

The site opens on the sportsbook, with casino, live casino, poker, racebook, esports and promotions in the top menu. A single balance follows you across every product. BetOnline’s casino rules describe it plainly: there is no cashier transfer between sportsbook and casino, and money moves with you as you change tabs.

Signing up takes a few minutes. According to BetOnline’s help centre, you need:

  1. Your first and last name, an email address and a password.
  2. A valid, active phone number, which is used to verify your identity and secure the account.
  3. Click “Join Now”, fill in the form and select “Create Account”.
  4. Open the confirmation email and click the verification link to finish.
  5. Make a first deposit of $10 or more to trigger the welcome offer.

Identity documents are not needed to open the account, but expect to send them before a withdrawal. BetOnline can ask for photo ID, the front and back of any card used to deposit, and a utility bill or bank statement showing your address. Sending these early avoids a delay on your first payout.

BetOnline is licensed in Panama and does not hold a licence from any US state gaming regulator. Its legality page says the company is located in Panama City and that “wagering laws, however, may vary from country-to-country and state-to-state”, leaving each player to check local law. Its rules add that all wagers are treated as if they originate in Panama City and are governed by Panamanian law.

Real-money online casinos are live and state-licensed in seven US states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Maine legalised online casinos in January 2026 (LD 1164), but its market had not launched as of October 2026. Outside those markets, there is no state-licensed online casino, which is why offshore brands such as BetOnline, Bovada, Ignition and MyBookie still draw US players.

Which states does BetOnline exclude?

BetOnline’s help centre does not publish a list of restricted US states. Its bonus rules only say that a promotion must be “available to residents of the country or jurisdiction registered on the account”. Third-party guides in 2026 report that New Jersey is blocked. Several states have also acted against BetOnline directly:

State Regulator Date Action
Michigan Michigan Gaming Control Board 28 April 2025 Cease-and-desist orders to the Panama-based operators of BetOnline.ag and SportsBetting.ag, with 14 days to stop serving Michigan
Tennessee Sports Wagering Council 20 May 2025 Cease-and-desist letter demanding BetOnline stop operating in Tennessee by 16 June 2025
Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office 25 June 2025 Cease-and-desist letters to BetOnline.ag and Sportsbetting.ag for offering casino games and sports betting without a Massachusetts Gaming Commission licence

If you live in one of these states, assume BetOnline will not accept you or may close your account. The safest step is to ask live chat whether your state is accepted before you deposit, and to use a state-licensed casino if your state has one.

What playing offshore means for you

  • No US regulator handles complaints. Disputes go to BetOnline, and its rules say management decisions are “final and binding”.
  • Your balance is not protected the way state-licensed casinos must segregate player funds.
  • BetOnline does not report winnings. Its rules say it is the player’s responsibility to report them where taxable, and US gambling winnings are taxable income for federal purposes.
  • Accounts with no deposits, withdrawals or wagers for 12 months are deemed dormant and their balances zeroed, though support can reinstate them.
  • Your bank may decline card deposits to offshore gambling sites; BetOnline’s own help centre lists this as a common reason for failed card payments.

On fairness, BetOnline says the RNGs in its casino and poker software are approved by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). That is the operator’s statement; no US regulator audits the site.

BetOnline welcome bonus and promotions (October 2026)

The current welcome offer, which BetOnline calls the “No Strings Welcome Offer”, has two parts. Both are triggered by your first-ever deposit of $10 or more, and the offer is limited to customers located in North America, one per person, household, address, IP, device and payment method.

Part What you get Key terms
Free Bet 50% of your first deposit, up to $250 Sportsbook only; odds of -200 (1.50) or longer; winnings paid as cash, stake not returned; expires after 30 days
Free spins 100 spins: 10 a day for 10 days First spins within 24 hours; a different slot each day (shown in the Casino Bonus tab); each day’s spins expire after 24 hours; total winnings capped at $100

Bonus maths: what the welcome offer is worth

Deposit $100 and you get a $50 Free Bet plus the 100 spins. Deposit $500 or more and the Free Bet maxes out at $250. A Free Bet only returns the profit: a $50 Free Bet at -110 that wins pays about $45.45 in cash, and you keep the $100 you deposited. The spins can add at most $100. For a casino-only player, the realistic value is the spins, so a $10 deposit captures almost all of the casino side of the offer.

BetOnline says the Free Bet has “no strings attached”, meaning winnings are not tied to a rollover. Your own deposit still has to be wagered once before you can withdraw it, a rule that applies to every deposit at BetOnline.

Casino bonus rules and live dealer games

The casino rules set clear limits on bonus money:

  • Bonuses are restricted to “classic casino games only”; 3D slots and newer titles are not eligible.
  • Bonuses cannot be used on baccarat, roulette (European or American), sic bo or craps.
  • Using a slot’s “buy feature” to get around rollover may forfeit winnings.
  • Deposit bonuses must be requested with a promo code when you deposit; support can add a missed bonus up to 24 hours after the deposit.
  • Opposite-side betting is banned, including Player and Banker in baccarat, red and black in roulette, or covering 25 or more roulette numbers in one spin.

BetOnline does not publish a live dealer contribution rate. Since baccarat and roulette are excluded outright, plan on playing live tables with cash, not bonus funds. Live blackjack players should ask support whether a specific bonus counts before accepting it.

Ongoing promotions and VIP rewards

  • VIP Rewards: you start at Bronze after your first deposit, with two personalised reloads a month and access to Daily Cash Races and birthday rewards. Silver adds a Level Up bonus and Weekly Cash Boosts. Diamond 1 and above get a dedicated VIP host and enhanced Bitcoin withdrawal limits.
  • Casino Rakeback: paid on eligible casino bets at every VIP level, calculated from your stake and the game’s house edge, paid as cash with no rollover, and it never expires. Craps is excluded.
  • Daily Cash Race: a $25,000 daily leaderboard where sports, casino, racebook and esports bets all count.
  • Refer a friend: a referral programme is listed in the help centre; check its current terms in your account.

Sportsbook and racebook wagers earn three times more Reward Points than casino bets, so live dealer players climb the VIP ladder more slowly than sports bettors.

BetOnline live casino: studios, tables and limits

BetOnline live dealer games
Live dealer games at BetOnline (screenshot from our earlier review).

BetOnline’s live lobby sits under Casino, then Live Casino, and splits into blackjack, roulette, baccarat, casino poker and lottery-style games. Most tables come from Visionary iGaming (VIG), a studio built for the US-facing market, and from Fresh Deck Studios, which supplies BetOnline-branded private tables, live roulette and baccarat. Several tables are labelled “Exclusive” to BetOnline, and a few come from other studios.

The limits below are what the lobby displayed when we viewed it from a US connection on 6 October 2026. Tables and limits change, so treat them as a snapshot.

Live blackjack

Table Limits per hand Notes
Blackjack Immortal 1 $1 to $20,000 Lowest minimum in the lobby
Classic 8 and Classic 9 $10 to $20,000 Exclusive, seven seats
Classic 7 $10 to $2,000 Exclusive
Classic 22 and Classic 23 $10 to $500 Low-stakes tables
Classic 3 $50 to $20,000 Exclusive
Classic 1, Classic 2 $100 to $50,000 Exclusive high-limit tables
Classic 5, Classic 10 $100 to $20,000 and $100 to $10,000 Mid to high limit
Perfect Blackjack 1 $250 to $10,000 Side-bet variant
Classic 4 $500 to $50,000 Highest minimum

The live casino rules matter more at blackjack than anywhere else. If you time out or lose connection, your hand is completed using basic strategy. Back betting is allowed, but you are bound by the decisions of the player in the main seat and cannot claim a refund if you disagree. Professional card counters are prohibited, and BetOnline says it will close their accounts. For strategy and rule variations, see our live blackjack guide.

Live roulette

The roulette section listed 13 tables. VIG runs live and auto-wheel versions of both American and European roulette in two limit tiers: $5 to $500 and $25 to $10,000. Fresh Deck and the other studios add Flash Roulette ($1 to $50), Super Charged Roulette and American Super Charged Roulette, Auto Roulette 1 and a standard live wheel (each $0.50 to $12,500), and an exclusive “Live BetOnline Roulette” table at $1 to $10,000. European wheels have a single zero and a 2.7% house edge; American wheels add a double zero and a 5.26% edge, so pick the European tables when both are open. Our live roulette guide covers the bets.

Live baccarat

Baccarat has around a dozen tables, from $1 to $200 at the bottom to $250 to $10,000 at the top. Variants include Speed Baccarat, Turbo Baccarat and All In Baccarat ($1 to $10,000), plus standard VIG tables in $5 to $100 and $25 to $500 bands. Older reviews also note Super 6 (no-commission) baccarat on the VIG tables. Read our live baccarat guide for the Banker commission and the tie bet’s house edge before you sit down.

Other live games and RNG tables

Casino poker and lottery-style live games sit below the main three. Away from the live floor, BetOnline runs slots, video poker, RNG table games, specialty games, virtual sports and in-house “Originals”. Its published RNG table limits include blackjack at $1 to $500 a hand, baccarat at $1 to $250, and roulette at $1 to $250 (with a $50 cap on inside bets). Slots run from one cent to $5 a spin, and slot jackpot winnings are capped at $1,000,000 in any 24-hour period under BetOnline’s rules.

If a live round goes wrong, BetOnline’s rules say a human misdeal or technical fault voids all hands and returns the bets. For a disputed payout, contact Player Services with the game name, stake, time played and amount won or lost.

Banking: deposits, withdrawals, limits and fees

BetOnline banking fees and timeframes
BetOnline banking (screenshot from our earlier review; current limits are in the tables below).

BetOnline only holds balances in US dollars. Crypto is the cheapest and fastest way in and out, which BetOnline says itself: its banking page calls Bitcoin “the easiest way to deposit and get paid”. The figures below come from BetOnline’s banking page and its “Withdrawal Limits and Fees” help article, checked on 6 October 2026. Your cashier may show different options depending on location and VIP level.

Deposit methods

Method Minimum Maximum Notes
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC) $10 No limit Credited in 15 minutes to 2 hours
Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Solana, Ripple (XRP), Cardano, Avalanche, Binance Coin, Polygon, Shiba Inu, Stellar, Tron, Trump (TRUMP) $10 $500,000 Credited in 15 minutes to 2 hours
Credit or debit card (incl. prepaid and gift cards) $25 $2,500 Processing fee on every card deposit, varies by VIP level
Person to Person $100 $600 BetOnline covers fees on deposits of $300 or more
Money order $300 $9,000 Shipped by courier; BetOnline credits the express fee

Card deposits come with conditions. The card name must match your account, corporate cards are refused, and the processing fee “cannot be refunded, waived, or altered”, according to BetOnline’s deposit rules. You may also have to wait three calendar days after a card deposit before requesting a withdrawal. Many US banks decline offshore gambling transactions; our guide to credit card deposits at US casinos explains why, and how state-licensed operators handled cards in 2026.

Withdrawal methods and fees

Method Min Max Processing time Fee
Bitcoin $20 No limit Within 24 hours Listed as free in the fee table; network fees can apply
Ethereum, Tether, USD Coin $20 No limit Within 24 hours $1.50 to $25, rising with amount
Litecoin $20 $50,000 Within 24 hours $1.50 to $7.50
Binance Coin, Cardano, Ripple, Solana $20 $25,000 Within 24 hours $1.50 to $7.50
Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Polygon, Shiba Inu, Tron, Trump $20 $10,000 Within 24 hours $1.50 to $6.25
Stellar $20 $10,000 Within 24 hours $3 to $12.50
Person to Person $50 $400 Within 5 business days $26 to $51
Check by courier $500 $2,500 Within 7 business days $50 up to $1,500, then 3%
Money order $1,000 $3,000 Within 7 business days $80
Bank wire $2,500 $25,000 Within 15 business days $60 up to $5,000, then 3%

Maximums apply per transaction and per week. BetOnline’s frequency table lists crypto withdrawals as unlimited; check the cashier for the limits on your own account. Person to Person and money order payouts are limited to one a day and one a week, and wires and courier checks to one a week. BetOnline’s banking page shows slightly different figures for some fiat methods, and its crypto fee article warns that the final network fee can differ from the estimate, so check the cashier before you submit.

Worked example: cashing out $2,000

  • Bitcoin: listed as free in the help-centre fee table, though BetOnline’s banking page says Bitcoin payouts are subject to network fees; processing is within 24 hours.
  • Litecoin: the $1,000 to $5,000 band carries a $5 fee.
  • Check by courier: 3% applies above $1,500, so $60. The fee table says processing takes up to 7 business days, while the banking page quotes delivery in 15 business days, and the check must be paid into a bank account.
  • Bank wire or Person to Person: not possible; $2,000 is below the $2,500 wire minimum and above the $400 Person to Person maximum.

How a withdrawal works, step by step

  1. Make sure every deposit has been wagered at least once (1x rollover) and you have no pending Free Bet.
  2. Open the cashier, choose “Withdrawal”, enter the amount and select a method.
  3. Enter your wallet address or payment details. BetOnline does not store wire details, so you enter them each time.
  4. Submit, and keep enough balance to cover the fee, which is debited on top of the withdrawal amount.
  5. Upload any ID requested to [email protected]. Certain fiat methods are processed Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET, excluding holidays.

Check payouts go only to the physical address on the account, never to a P.O. box, and Person to Person payouts must be collected within 10 days. For more on crypto banking, see our Bitcoin live casinos guide.

BetOnline on mobile

BetOnline mobile casino
BetOnline on a mobile browser (screenshot from our earlier review).

The casino and live dealer lobby run in a mobile browser on iOS and Android, with no download needed. The live tables stream in portrait or landscape, and the single wallet means you can switch from a sportsbook bet to a live blackjack hand without moving money. Poker is the exception: the full poker room uses a downloadable client for Windows and Mac, with a separate mobile poker version.

BetOnline’s tech-support page explains disconnections. On an RNG slot, an interrupted spin finishes and credits any win. At a live table, your bets stay in play and settle as a win, loss or push, exactly as they would in a land-based casino. On mobile data, that is worth knowing before you place a big bet.

Customer support

Support runs through live chat (the chat bubble on every page) and an extensive help centre at help.betonline.ag, covering banking, bonuses, casino rules and account security. The help centre lists [email protected] for general queries, [email protected] for verification files, [email protected] for the poker room and an Account Management phone line, 1-888-426-3661. VIP players can also reach a personal host through Telegram.

Account security options include two-factor authentication, and security codes are sent by SMS from short code 57342. BetOnline says that short code is used only for verification and security messages, not marketing.

Responsible gambling tools

BetOnline offers three ways to step back, all requested through Player Services:

  • Time-out: fixed breaks of 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months. They cannot be ended early, and you cannot log in during the break.
  • Account closure: indefinite but reversible.
  • Self-exclusion: permanent and irreversible.

We found no self-service deposit limit tool described in the help centre, and BetOnline is not part of any US state self-exclusion list. If gambling is causing problems, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), run by the National Council on Problem Gambling, free and confidential, 24/7.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons
Two dedicated live studios and many exclusive tables No US state licence and no US complaint route
Blackjack up to $50,000 a hand Cease-and-desist orders in Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts
17 cryptocurrencies, crypto payouts processed within 24 hours Card deposits carry a non-refundable fee
Casino Rakeback in cash with no rollover Welcome Free Bet is sportsbook-only; roulette and baccarat excluded from casino bonuses
Long track record and detailed help centre Slow, expensive wire and check payouts

Final verdict

For live dealer play, BetOnline is one of the strongest offshore options still open to many US players, thanks to the VIG and Fresh Deck lobbies, wide table limits and fast crypto payouts. The bonuses are less useful to live casino players than the headline suggests, and the legal position is the main risk: three states have formally ordered it to stop taking their residents. Use crypto, keep balances modest, withdraw regularly, and choose a state-licensed casino if you live in one of the seven states that have them.

BetOnline FAQ

Is BetOnline legit and safe?

BetOnline has operated since about 2001 and processes crypto payouts within 24 hours, but it is an offshore casino licensed in Panama, not by any US state. No US regulator protects your balance or handles complaints. BetOnline says its RNGs are approved by GLI. Use crypto, keep balances modest and withdraw regularly.

No US state has licensed BetOnline. State-licensed online casinos are live in seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Maine legalised them in January 2026, but its market had not launched as of October 2026. Michigan’s Gaming Control Board (28 April 2025), Tennessee’s Sports Wagering Council (20 May 2025) and the Massachusetts Attorney General (25 June 2025) have each issued cease-and-desist orders to BetOnline.

Which states can’t play at BetOnline?

BetOnline does not publish a restricted-state list in its help centre. Third-party guides report that New Jersey is blocked, and Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts have ordered BetOnline to stop serving their residents. Ask live chat whether your state is accepted before you deposit.

What is the BetOnline welcome bonus?

As of October 2026, the No Strings Welcome Offer gives 50% of your first deposit back as sportsbook Free Bets, up to $250, plus 100 casino free spins (10 a day for 10 days, $100 maximum winnings). The minimum deposit is $10, and the offer is for customers located in North America.

Can I use a BetOnline bonus on live dealer games?

Not on most of them. BetOnline’s casino rules say bonuses cannot be used on baccarat, roulette, sic bo or craps, and are limited to classic casino games. The welcome Free Bet works only in the sportsbook. Play live tables with cash and ask support before using a bonus at live blackjack.

Who provides BetOnline’s live dealer games?

Most live tables come from Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios, with a few from other studios. The lobby offers live blackjack from $1 to $50,000 a hand, 13 roulette tables including European and American wheels, and around a dozen baccarat tables including Speed, Turbo and All In.

How long do BetOnline withdrawals take?

Crypto withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, according to BetOnline’s withdrawal table. Person to Person payouts take up to 5 business days, money orders and courier checks up to 7 business days by that table, and bank wires up to 15 business days. Every deposit must be wagered once before you can withdraw it.

Does BetOnline charge withdrawal fees?

BetOnline’s help-centre table lists Bitcoin withdrawals as free, but its banking page says network fees apply. Other coins cost $1.50 to $25 depending on the amount. Fiat payouts cost more: Person to Person $26 to $51, money orders $80, courier checks $50 or 3%, and wires $60 or 3%.

Does BetOnline accept credit cards?

Yes. Visa, Mastercard, and prepaid or gift cards that allow international online purchases are accepted for deposits from $25 to $2,500. Every card deposit carries a processing fee that varies by VIP level and cannot be refunded, and your bank may decline the transaction. Cards are not offered for withdrawals.
