The best live online casinos for US players in October 2026 are offshore sites that still accept Americans and run real-dealer blackjack, roulette and baccarat: Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline. None of them holds a US state licence. State-licensed real-money online casinos are live in seven states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island), and an eighth state, Maine, legalised online casinos in January 2026 (LD 1164) but its market had not launched as of October 2026. If you are physically in one of the seven live states, a state-licensed casino is the safer choice. This page lists the US-facing live casinos we review, compares the studios and games behind them, and sets out the legal picture state by state.
Updated October 2026 by the Live Casino Reports editorial team. We removed every operator from our previous list that does not accept US players.
Best Live Dealer Games
A live casino streams real tables from a studio: a human dealer, physical cards, a real roulette wheel, and an HD video feed to your browser or phone. You place bets through an on-screen interface and the game reads the results automatically. Live tables are slower than computer-generated games and minimum bets are higher, typically $1 to $5, but you see every card and spin as it happens.
You can chat with the dealer and other players, and most lobbies now run around the clock. The core games are blackjack, roulette and baccarat, with poker variants, sic bo and game shows at larger studios.
Top Rated / Best Live Casino USA for October 2026
These operators accepted US players and offered live dealer tables when we checked their sites in October 2026. Each one excludes some states, listed in the cards and reviews. They are offshore businesses with no US licence, which means no state regulator handles complaints.

Is Online Live Casino Legal in the USA? (October 2026)
There is no federal licence for online casinos. Each state decides, and the map has three zones: states where licensed online casinos are live, one state that has legalised but not launched, and everywhere else.
| Status | States |
|---|---|
| Real-money online casino legal and live | New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island |
| Legalised, not yet launched | Maine (LD 1164, January 2026; limited to the four Wabanaki Nations, launch projected for 2027) |
| No licensed online casino | All other states, including California, Texas, Florida and New York |
A few points matter for live casino players:
- Nevada allows online poker only, not online casino games.
- Maryland and Virginia considered online casino bills in 2026 and neither passed. See our Maryland page.
- Offshore sites such as those above are not licensed by any US state. Several states have sent them cease-and-desist letters (Massachusetts to Bovada in 2024, Michigan to MyBookie), and they then block those states.
- Federal law (the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006) targets gambling businesses and payment processors rather than individual players, and the First Circuit ruled in 2021 that the Wire Act covers sports betting only. That is not the same as offshore play being legal in your state; check your state’s law.
- Sweepstakes casinos are a separate model, and a growing number of states have banned them, including California (from 1 January 2026), New York (signed 8 December 2025, effective immediately), Indiana (from 1 July 2026), Maine (LD 2007, from 29 July 2026), Louisiana (from 1 August 2026) and Oklahoma (SB 1589, from 1 November 2026). Most sweepstakes sites do not run true live dealer tables anyway.
State by state: where licensed live dealer casinos operate
In the seven live states, every licensed online casino must geolocate you inside the state before you can bet, and the minimum age is 21. Licensed casinos in these markets offer live dealer blackjack, roulette and baccarat, streamed from studios approved by state regulators.
| State | Online casino launch | Regulator | Market notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Jersey | November 2013 | Division of Gaming Enforcement | The largest choice of brands, around 30; Evolution and Playtech run live studios in Atlantic City, and Ezugi returned in October 2025 |
| Delaware | November 2013 | Delaware Lottery | One platform: Rush Street Interactive (BetRivers) has run the state’s online casino since a soft launch on 27 December 2023 |
| Pennsylvania | July 2019 | Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board | Around 20 brands; Evolution runs a Pennsylvania studio |
| West Virginia | July 2020 | West Virginia Lottery | Around 7 brands |
| Michigan | January 2021 | Michigan Gaming Control Board | Around 15 brands; Evolution studios in Southfield (2021) and Grand Rapids (May 2026), Playtech in Southfield |
| Connecticut | October 2021 | Department of Consumer Protection | Two tribal operators only: FanDuel (Mohegan) and DraftKings (Mashantucket Pequot, Foxwoods), live from 19 October 2021 |
| Rhode Island | March 2024 | Rhode Island Lottery | One brand, Bally’s, launched 5 March 2024 with live dealer blackjack and roulette |
| Maine | Legalised January 2026, not launched | Rules still being written | Tribal-only market for the four Wabanaki Nations |
Outside those seven live states, and in Maine until its market opens, the realistic options for live dealer play are offshore sites (with the risks set out below) or a trip to a land-based casino. Brand counts are approximate and come from industry trackers in 2026.
Regulated vs offshore live casinos: what changes for you
| State-licensed casino (7 live states) | Offshore US-facing casino | |
|---|---|---|
| Who licenses it | State regulator, such as the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement or the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board | No US licence; offshore or none published |
| Where you can play | Only while physically inside that state (geolocation checked) | Most states, minus each brand’s restricted list |
| Live studios | Mostly Evolution and Ezugi from US studios, plus Playtech in New Jersey and Michigan | Visionary iGaming, Fresh Deck Studios and others |
| Payments | Debit cards, PayPal, online banking; credit cards being phased out | Crypto first; cards often declined |
| Disputes | Complaint to the state regulator | Only the operator’s own support |
| Age | 21+ | Usually 18+ in the operator’s terms |
Whichever route you choose, the game maths is the same: a single-zero roulette wheel has a 2.70% house edge whether it is streamed from Atlantic City or Costa Rica. What differs is the protection around your money.
How live dealer streaming and dealing work
A live table is a real game linked to betting software. Several cameras film the dealer and the table: a wide shot, a close-up of the cards or wheel, and often an overhead view. Next to each table sits a game control unit that encodes the video and passes game events to the casino’s software, so the result on your screen matches what happened on the felt.
Cards and wheel numbers are read automatically. Card shoes and table-mounted scanners identify each card as it is dealt, and optical character recognition reads the winning number on a roulette wheel or the dice in sic bo. That data settles every bet within a second or two of the result. The dealer never touches a keyboard during a round; their job is to deal, spin and talk to players.
The betting window is timed. Most live tables give you somewhere around 10 to 20 seconds to place chips before the dealer closes betting. In blackjack, you then get a short decision timer for each hand, and if you miss it the table applies a default action. Because the studio and the casino are separate businesses, the casino chooses which tables to carry and the limits on each, while the studio controls the rules, the cards and the stream.

Live casino studios compared
The studio behind a table decides its rules, side bets and stream quality. US players see two separate supplier worlds, which is why a state-licensed lobby in New Jersey looks very different from an offshore lobby.
| Studio | US presence (October 2026) | Known for | Where US players meet it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evolution | Studios serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Connecticut and West Virginia; its Grand Rapids, Michigan studio opened on 14 May 2026 as its seventh in the US | Lightning Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Crazy Time, game shows | State-licensed casinos |
| Ezugi (owned by Evolution) | Returned to New Jersey in October 2025; runs EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette from Grand Rapids | Baccarat and roulette variants | State-licensed casinos |
| Playtech Live | Studios in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Southfield, Michigan, opened in January 2022 | Quantum Roulette, All Bets Blackjack (unlimited seats) | State-licensed casinos |
| Visionary iGaming | Supplies US-facing offshore casinos | Early Payout Blackjack, American roulette | Offshore casinos such as BetOnline and MyBookie |
| Fresh Deck Studios | Supplies US-facing offshore casinos | Standard blackjack, roulette and baccarat | BetOnline’s second live lobby |
| Pragmatic Play Live (formerly Extreme Live Gaming) | Mainly international markets | Mega Wheel, Speed Baccarat | International casinos |
In practice, the studio is often the biggest single factor in how a live casino feels. Evolution tables have more camera angles and many more game variants, while the offshore studios focus on the classic three games with US-style rules such as American double-zero roulette. Our live casino software providers guide covers more studios.
Live dealer games compared: house edge and what to look for
The house edge is the average share of each bet the casino keeps over the long run. It is the clearest way to compare live games, because a lower edge means your bankroll lasts longer at the same stake.
| Game | Best bet or rule | House edge | Check before you sit down |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | Basic strategy, 3:2 payout | About 0.5% | Blackjack pays 3:2 (not 6:5); dealer stands on soft 17 |
| Baccarat | Banker | 1.06% (Player 1.24%) | 5% commission on Banker; avoid Tie (14.36% at 8:1) |
| European roulette | Any bet | 2.70% | Single zero only |
| French roulette | Even-money bets with La Partage | 1.35% | La Partage or En Prison rule listed in the game help |
| American roulette | Any bet except the five-number bet | 5.26% | Two zeros; the 0-00-1-2-3 bet is 7.89% |
| Three Card Poker | Ante and Play | 3.37% per ante | Pair Plus pay table varies by table |
| Casino Hold’em | Ante and Call | About 2.16% per ante | Side bets carry a higher edge |
| Sic bo | Big or Small | 2.78% | Specific triples and totals run far higher |
| Dragon Tiger | Dragon or Tiger | 3.73% | A tie costs half your bet |
House edges are for standard rules as calculated by Wizard of Odds. Side bets almost always carry a higher edge than the main game, so treat them as entertainment rather than value.
Popular live titles and their published RTP
Return to player (RTP) is the flip side of house edge: 97.30% RTP means a 2.70% edge. These are Evolution’s published figures for some of the most played live games at state-licensed casinos:
- Lightning Roulette: European wheel with one to five lightning numbers per spin that carry multipliers from 50x to 500x on straight-up bets. Straight-up wins without lightning pay 29:1 instead of 35:1 to fund the multipliers. RTP is 97.10% on straight-up bets and 97.30% on the rest.
- XXXtreme Lightning Roulette: adds Chain Lightning and Double Strikes, with multipliers up to 2,000x. RTP ranges from 97.10% to 97.30% by bet type.
- Lightning Baccarat: a 20% Lightning Fee on every main bet funds random card multipliers of 2x to 8x, with payouts up to 512:1 when lightning cards line up. Evolution lists the RTP at 98.76%.
- Infinite Blackjack: one shared hand with unlimited seats and an RTP of 99.47% on the main game. The four side bets (Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It) pay back between 94.12% and 96.30%.
- Crazy Time: a 54-segment money wheel with four bonus games (Cash Hunt, Pachinko, Coin Flip and Crazy Time). Number bets return 95.73% to 96.08% and bonus bets 94.33% to 95.70%, with a top multiplier of 20,000x.
The pattern is consistent: the bigger the possible multiplier, the lower the RTP and the higher the volatility. Classic blackjack and baccarat remain the better value; game shows trade value for entertainment. If you want a refresher on the maths, see our RTP explainer.
Table limits and bankroll: worked examples
Most live tables start at $1 to $5 per hand or spin, and VIP tables can take thousands. The studio sets a range, and each casino picks the limits it offers within it. Lightning Roulette, for example, is built to take bets from €0.20 to €5,000, but a given casino may open it at a higher minimum.
The house edge turns into a predictable hourly cost. Here is how that looks at a few common stakes (the number of rounds per hour is our illustrative assumption, since pace varies by table and how many players are seated):
| Game and stake | Rounds per hour (assumed) | Total wagered per hour | House edge | Average cost per hour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack, $25 per hand | 50 | $1,250 | 0.5% | $6.25 |
| Baccarat Banker, $25 per hand | 50 | $1,250 | 1.06% | $13.25 |
| European roulette, $10 per spin | 40 | $400 | 2.70% | $10.80 |
| American roulette, $10 per spin | 40 | $400 | 5.26% | $21.04 |
Those are long-run averages. In any single session your result will swing far more than that, up or down. Two practical rules follow from the numbers. First, choosing a European wheel over an American one roughly halves your cost at the same stake. Second, a bankroll of 20 to 40 minimum bets gives you room to ride normal swings at a table rather than busting out in the first few hands. For more on staking, read our blackjack minimum bet guide.
How we choose the US live casinos on this page
Before an operator appears in our US list, it has to pass five checks, which we repeat each time we update the page:
- Accepts US players today. We check the operator’s restricted-country and restricted-state terms. Brands that block the US are removed, which is why Bitkingz, BitStarz, Betwinner, Cashmio, Casoo and SupaCasi no longer appear here.
- Runs live dealer tables. A live lobby with at least blackjack, roulette and baccarat. Slots-only casinos such as Sloto Cash do not qualify for this list.
- Track record. Years in operation under the same brand, and any regulatory action such as state cease-and-desist letters, which we disclose in the review.
- Withdrawal options. At least one reliable payout route for US players, usually crypto, plus clear limits.
- Clear bonus terms. Published wagering requirements and a statement on whether live games count.
Ratings in the cards reflect those checks plus game range and support quality. They are our editorial judgement, not a guarantee.
How to pick a live casino yourself
Our list is a starting point. Whichever site you look at, these questions sort the good from the risky:
- Is it licensed where you are? In the seven live states, check the regulator’s list of approved operators. Elsewhere, accept that no US regulator stands behind the site.
- Does it accept your state? Every offshore site blocks some states. Signing up from a restricted state can lead to a closed account and confiscated winnings.
- Which studio runs the tables? The studio name is usually shown on the table or in the game help. It tells you the rules and side bets to expect.
- What are the table limits? Look in the lobby before you deposit. A $25 minimum blackjack table is a poor fit for a $100 bankroll.
- How do you get paid? Read the cashier’s withdrawal page for minimums, maximums, frequency and fees. A site that hides this information is a warning sign.
- Do live games count towards the bonus? If not, you may be better off declining it.
Live casino bonuses: what actually counts
Welcome bonuses at US-facing sites are built for slots. Bovada’s casino bonus, for example, carries a 25x rollover, and live dealer games do not count towards it at the US-facing sites we checked. In practice that means:
- If you only want live blackjack or roulette, a bonus may lock your deposit until you clear wagering on games you do not play. Declining the bonus is often the better choice.
- Crypto deposits usually unlock larger offers than card deposits.
- Read the maximum bet rule while a bonus is active; breaking it can void winnings.
A quick worked example shows why. Take a $500 bonus with a 25x rollover. If the rollover applies to the bonus alone, you must place $12,500 in qualifying bets; if it applies to deposit plus bonus on a $500 deposit, the figure doubles to $25,000. Played on slots with a 96% RTP, $12,500 of wagering costs about $500 on average, which is the whole bonus. The offer still has value, but only for players who enjoy the slots it is built for. Our live casino bonus page explains the common terms.
Step by step: sign up, deposit and withdraw at a US live casino
- Check your state. If you are in one of the seven states where licensed online casinos are live, compare state-licensed options first. Otherwise, confirm the offshore site accepts players from your state; each one blocks several.
- Open an account with accurate details. Use your legal name, date of birth and home address. They must match your ID, or your first withdrawal will stall.
- Read the bonus terms. Most welcome offers exclude live dealer games or count them at 0% to 10% towards wagering. Opt out if you plan to play live tables only.
- Verify your account early. Upload a photo ID and proof of address before you need a payout. State-licensed casinos verify identity at sign-up; offshore sites usually ask before the first withdrawal.
- Deposit with a method you can withdraw to. At offshore sites that usually means crypto, sent from a wallet or exchange account in your own name. See our crypto casino guide.
- Start at low limits. Watch a few rounds, check the rules in the game help, then join a table that fits your budget.
- Withdraw in the cashier. Choose the payout method, enter the amount and confirm. Bovada, for example, says a crypto request takes about 24 hours to be approved before the payment is sent.
Payment methods for US live casino players
Crypto is the main channel at offshore US casinos. Bovada’s welcome offer, for example, is larger for crypto deposits than for card deposits. Credit and debit card deposits are accepted at most of these sites but are often declined by US banks, and some issuers treat gambling transactions as cash advances with fees and interest from day one. Card withdrawals are rarely available, so plan to cash out by crypto, check or bank transfer. Read our US credit card deposits guide for details.
Bovada publishes its withdrawal limits in full, which makes it a useful benchmark for what to expect at an offshore site:
| Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum per request | Frequency or cap | Time after approval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin (BTC) | $75 | $9,500 | $90,000 per week | Up to 24 hours |
| Litecoin (LTC) | $10 | $9,500 | $180,000 per week | Up to 1 hour |
| Ethereum (ETH) | $50 | $2,500 | $2,500 per week | Up to 1 hour |
| Tether (USDT) | $50 | $2,500 | $2,500 per week | Up to 1 hour |
| MatchPay | $10 | $2,000 | 2 per calendar day | Instant |
| Check by courier | $250 | $3,000 | 1 per 7 days | 10 to 15 business days |
| Bank wire | $1,500 | $9,500 | 1 per 30 days | 10 to 15 business days |
Source: Bovada help centre, October 2026. Other offshore sites have their own limits, so check the cashier before you deposit.
Speed and fees change the picture. Bovada charges no fee of its own on crypto withdrawals, so $1,000 sent as Litecoin costs only the network fee and arrives within about an hour of approval, while the same $1,000 by check takes 10 to 15 business days. That is why we recommend crypto for offshore play even to players who have never used it. If you are new to wallets, practise with a small deposit and a small withdrawal first.
At state-licensed casinos the menu is different: debit cards, PayPal, online banking (ACH) and prepaid cards are standard, and many casinos let you deposit or withdraw cash at the cage of a partner land-based casino. Several major operators have also stopped taking credit card deposits during 2026. Crypto is not offered.
Live Dealer Casino Security
Legitimate casinos use TLS encryption (the padlock in your browser) for logins and payments, and ask for ID before paying out. Encryption protects your data in transit; it does not protect your balance if the operator refuses to pay. That risk is the real difference between regulated and offshore casinos. State-licensed casinos must hold player funds separately and answer to a regulator. Offshore operators set their own rules. Withdraw winnings regularly rather than leaving large balances on account.
Customer Support
The US-facing sites we list offer 24/7 live chat and email. Phone support varies by brand. Test live chat with a question before you deposit; a slow or vague reply is a useful warning sign.
Live dealer vs RNG table games
Most casinos offer two versions of each table game: a live table with a human dealer, and a computer version driven by a random number generator (RNG). The rules can be identical, but the experience and the cost per hour are not.
| Live dealer table | RNG (virtual) table | |
|---|---|---|
| How results are made | Physical cards, wheel or dice, read by cameras and scanners | Software random number generator |
| Pace | Set by the dealer and the betting timer | As fast as you click |
| Minimum bet | Usually $1 to $5 | Often lower, sometimes cents |
| Free play | No; you can watch without betting | Demo mode at many casinos |
| Social side | Chat with the dealer and other players | None |
| Counts towards bonus wagering | Usually 0% to 10%, often excluded | Often a reduced rate; check terms |
The slower pace of a live table works in your favour on cost. With the same house edge, fewer rounds per hour means less money wagered, so an hour of live blackjack usually costs less than an hour of fast RNG blackjack at the same stake. RNG tables are better for learning a game in demo mode; live tables are better once you play for real money and want to see every card. Our online vs land-based casinos guide compares both with a casino floor.
Playing live dealer games on mobile
All four casinos on our list run their live tables in a mobile browser on iPhone and Android, so you do not need an app. State-licensed brands usually offer apps as well, because geolocation checks are built into them. A few points make mobile play smoother:
- Use Wi-Fi or a strong 5G signal. A live stream uses far more data than an RNG game, and a dropped connection mid-hand means the table applies its default action.
- Turn the phone sideways. Most studios offer a landscape layout with a larger video window and the full betting grid.
- Lower the video quality if the stream stutters. Most live players let you choose a lower resolution in the settings menu.
- Allow location access at state-licensed casinos, or the app cannot confirm you are inside the state.
Our mobile live casino guide has more on apps and devices.
Why Live Casino Reports?
Live Casino Reports covers one thing: live dealer casinos. On this site you will find:
- Reviews of US-facing live casinos, with the states each one excludes.
- Game guides with rules, house edges and strategy for blackjack, roulette, baccarat and more.
- Reviews of the studios behind the tables, such as Visionary iGaming and Evolution.
- Payment guides, including crypto and credit card deposits.
Every operator on our US list must accept players from most US states and run live tables. We earn a commission when you sign up through our links; that does not change which casinos qualify, and we remove operators that stop accepting US players.
Live casinos let US players bet on real tables from home without driving to a casino. The trade-off outside the seven states where licensed online casinos are live is that you play with an offshore operator, so pick carefully and keep deposits modest.
Live Casino Online Games – Reviews and Tips How To Play!
The studio that builds a table decides its rules, side bets and stream quality. The casino decides which tables it carries and the limits. US players see two separate supplier worlds:
- State-licensed casinos stream mostly from Evolution, which runs studios serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Connecticut and West Virginia. Its Ezugi brand returned to New Jersey in October 2025, and Playtech runs studios in New Jersey and Michigan.
- Offshore US-facing casinos rely on smaller studios. BetOnline runs lobbies from Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios, and MyBookie labels VIG tables in its lobby.
Typical live tables include European and American roulette, standard and VIP blackjack, baccarat with Super 6, Casino Hold’em, Three Card Poker and, at larger lobbies, Dragon Tiger, sic bo and wheel games.
Live Casino Games For The US Players
At US-facing offshore sites, the live lobby is smaller than at European casinos but covers the main games. Bovada’s live dealer page, for example, lists 10 VIP blackjack tables, 38 blackjack tables, 16 roulette tables and 15 baccarat tables, plus game shows. MyBookie’s lobby includes several blackjack tiers, American and European roulette, baccarat with Super 6, Dragon Tiger and sic bo.
Two rules are worth checking at any table. On roulette, look for a single-zero wheel (2.70% house edge) rather than American double-zero (5.26%). On blackjack, check that blackjack pays 3:2 and whether the dealer hits soft 17. Our live games hub covers each title.
Our Guides To The Most Popular different types of Live Casino Games
Blackjack USA
Live blackjack is the lowest-edge game in most live lobbies. With basic strategy and good rules (3:2 payouts, dealer stands on soft 17), the house edge is around 0.5%.
Live Blackjack USA
Blackjack is the one major casino game where your decisions change the long-run result. Live tables add real cards and a dealer you can talk to, at stakes often lower than a casino floor. US-facing sites carry standard and VIP tables, and some VIG tables offer Early Payout, which lets you settle a hand before it finishes. Our minimum bet guide and insurance guide are good next reads.
Baccarat
Live baccarat needs no strategy decisions: you back Player, Banker or Tie. The Banker bet has a house edge of about 1.06% after the 5% commission; the Tie bet is over 14%.
Roulette
Live roulette streams a physical wheel with a croupier. It is simple to follow on a phone, which makes it one of the most played live games.
Live Roulette USA
US-facing sites often lead with American roulette, which has two zeros and a 5.26% house edge. European roulette, with one zero, cuts that to 2.70%, and French rules on even-money bets cut it to 1.35%. Pick the single-zero table when you have the choice.
Sic Bo
Sic bo is a three-dice game from China. House edges range from about 2.8% on Big/Small to well over 10% on some specific-number bets, so the bet you choose matters.
Poker
Live dealer poker means house-banked games such as Casino Hold’em, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Three Card Poker, where you play against the dealer rather than other players.
Keno
Live keno uses physical ball draws instead of a random number generator. Expect high house edges compared with table games.
Slot Games
Slots are not live games, but most US-facing casinos earn their welcome bonuses on them. See our slot games guide.
Responsible gambling at live tables
Live games feel social and move at a steady pace, which makes it easy to play longer than planned. A few habits help:
- Set a session budget and a time limit before you open the lobby, and stop when you hit either.
- Use deposit limits. State-licensed casinos offer deposit, loss and time limits; offshore sites offer fewer tools, so set limits with your own bank or crypto exchange if needed.
- Never chase losses by moving to a higher-limit table.
- Keep gambling money separate from bills, and do not play on credit.
Each of the seven states with live online casinos runs a self-exclusion programme through its regulator, which bars you from every licensed site in that state for the period you choose. Offshore sites are outside those programmes, so if you self-exclude, block those sites as well, for example with gambling-blocking software. Live Casino By Countries
Gambling law differs widely by country, and our country pages note the local legal position. Outside the US, we cover United Kingdom, Canada, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam. In some of these, such as Singapore, playing at unlicensed sites is itself an offence, so check before you play.

Live Casino USA FAQ
Is online gambling legal in the United States?
It depends on the state. Real-money online casinos are live in seven states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island), and an eighth, Maine, legalised a tribal-only market in January 2026 (LD 1164) that had not launched as of October 2026. Nevada allows online poker only. Offshore casinos are not licensed in any US state.
Which live casinos accept US players?
Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline accepted US players in October 2026, each with its own list of excluded states. Bovada, for example, does not accept players from Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or West Virginia, among others.
Are sweepstakes casinos legal?
They operate in many states, but a growing number have banned them by law, including California (from 1 January 2026), New York (December 2025), Indiana (1 July 2026), Maine (29 July 2026), Louisiana (1 August 2026) and Oklahoma (1 November 2026). Check your own state’s current law before you play.
Can I use Bitcoin to play live dealer games?
Yes. The offshore sites we list accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and often give larger bonuses for crypto deposits. State-licensed casinos do not accept crypto. Read our Bitcoin casino guide.
Can I play these games from my smartphone?
Yes. Live tables run in mobile browsers on iOS and Android without an app at the sites we list. See our mobile live casino guide.
What happens if my connection drops while playing at a live casino table?
Bets already accepted are settled on the server. At blackjack, the table usually applies a default decision (normally Stand) if you time out. Check your bet history when you reconnect.
Are live dealer games for real money only?
Yes. A human dealer runs every round, so there is no free-play mode, although you can usually watch a table without betting.
What are the minimum and maximum bets?
Most live tables start at $1 to $5. VIP tables can allow thousands per hand. Limits are set by each casino.
How do I withdraw my winnings and how long does it take?
Request a withdrawal in the cashier after verifying your ID. At offshore sites, crypto is usually the fastest route, often within one to two days of approval; checks and bank transfers can take a week or more. State-licensed casinos offer bank transfer, PayPal and similar methods.
Can you beat live blackjack online or is it rigged?
Licensed studios deal real cards on camera. Basic strategy brings the house edge down to around 0.5%, but you cannot beat the game long term, and card counting is impractical because shoes are reshuffled early.
What are the best payment methods for US players?
At offshore sites, crypto is the most reliable for deposits and withdrawals. Credit cards often get declined or charged as cash advances. At state-licensed casinos, debit cards, PayPal and online banking are standard.
What is the best live casino in the USA?
In states without licensed online casinos, Bovada and Ignition had the largest live lobbies of the US-facing sites we checked in October 2026. Bovada listed 95 live tables and games, including 38 standard and 10 VIP blackjack tables, 16 roulette and 15 baccarat tables; Ignition listed 110 across six lobbies, including 58 blackjack tables. If you are in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware or Rhode Island, a state-licensed casino is the safer pick because a regulator handles complaints.
Which states have legal live dealer casinos?
Licensed online casinos with live dealer tables are live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, while Maine legalised online casinos in January 2026 but had not launched by October 2026. You must be physically inside the state and 21 or older to play.
Can I play live dealer games in California, Texas or Florida?
No state-licensed online casino operates in California, Texas or Florida. Offshore sites such as Bovada accept players from those states, but no US regulator licenses or supervises them, so you rely on the operator alone if a payout dispute arises.
Which live dealer game has the best odds?
Blackjack played with basic strategy at a 3:2 table has a house edge of about 0.5%. The Banker bet in baccarat is next at about 1.06%. European roulette is 2.70%, while American double-zero roulette is 5.26%.
Who supplies live dealer games in the US?
Evolution is the main supplier to state-licensed casinos, with studios serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Connecticut and West Virginia, and it also runs Ezugi. Playtech has studios in New Jersey and Michigan. Offshore US-facing sites use smaller studios such as Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios, and Bovada’s lobby labels its tables Gold Tier Gaming and Dynamite Interactive.
How fast are live casino withdrawals in the US?
At Bovada, a crypto withdrawal request takes about 24 hours to approve. After approval, Litecoin arrives within about an hour and Bitcoin within 24 hours, while a check by courier takes 10 to 15 business days. State-licensed casinos pay out by PayPal, online banking and similar methods.
What is the minimum age to play at a live online casino?
At state-licensed online casinos in the US the minimum age is 21. Offshore sites usually set 18 in their terms, but local law still applies to you.
Do I have to download software to play live casino online?
No. Live tables run in your browser on desktop and mobile.
