Vave Casino Review 2026: Not Available to US Players

Vave casino review: crypto casino with no licence shown on its site, run by Costa Rica's Chestoption. Bars US players; Dutch fine, live games, US options.

An empty card table in an evening casino lounge

Vave does not accept players from the United States. Its own terms list the USA among the countries barred from real-money play, and on 6 October 2026 a US connection to vave.com got a “not available in your region” page instead of the lobby, so US residents cannot legitimately sign up. Jump to our US-friendly live casinos below. For readers elsewhere, Vave is a crypto casino and sportsbook launched in 2022 whose current site names no licence and no operating company, and whose operator was fined €3,082,000 by the Dutch regulator in June 2026.

Updated October 2026. Our April 2023 review called Vave “one of the best Bitcoin casinos”, said it was owned by “TechOption Group B.V.” under a Curaçao licence, praised Evolution as its main live studio and promised apps in both app stores. Almost none of that holds today. The brand has changed operator, its site no longer shows any licence, regulators in Australia and the Netherlands have acted against it, and the live lobby we saw in October 2026 carried no Evolution tables at all. We rebuilt this page from Vave’s current terms, its promotions pages, the lobby as served to a Canadian connection, and regulator records.

US-friendly alternatives to Vave

These four casinos accepted US players and ran live dealer tables when we checked in October 2026. All four are offshore sites with no US state licence, and each one excludes some states. None of them gives you a state regulator to complain to if a withdrawal goes wrong, so your funds are not protected the way they are at a state-licensed casino.

Eight states have legalised online casinos; seven markets are live (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island). Maine legalised a tribal-only market (LD 1164 became law without the governor’s signature in January 2026 and took effect on 29 July 2026), but it had not launched as of October 2026. If you live in one of the seven live states, a state-licensed casino is the regulated choice. Our US live casino guide covers the options.

Why Vave turns away US players

Section 3.6 of Vave’s terms and conditions is short and specific. Players from Belarus, Curaçao, Estonia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Cyprus, France, Turkey and the Netherlands “are prohibited from playing real money wagering games at Vave”. The same clause warns that the casino cannot guarantee withdrawals or refunds for anyone who breaches that policy. Sections 3.2 to 3.4 add that you must only play where online gambling is legal and that checking this is your responsibility, not Vave’s.

What a US visitor sees

We loaded vave.com through a US residential connection on 6 October 2026. The page title read “Vave is currently not available in your region”, and the body said the visit came from a restricted location. Oddly, that same block page tells travellers who use a VPN to switch to a server in a supported country and reload. Do not read that as permission. The terms still bar US residents, and a holiday workaround is not the same as being allowed to play from home.

Our 2023 affiliate link pointed to a second domain, vavegame.net, which still served the Vave lobby to the same US connection on 6 October 2026. A loading lobby is not an open door: the terms behind that domain were the same, with the USA on the prohibited list, so a US player who registers there is still in breach.

Why a VPN is a bad idea

Section 6.3 says VPN use “is not restricted” but that you carry the risk of lost money or misallocated bets. Read alongside section 3.6, that offers a US player nothing. Before paying out, section 8.7 lets Vave ask for an ID, a selfie holding the ID, a selfie with a handwritten note showing the site name and date, a phone call or a live video call, and it closes accounts that fail verification within 14 days. Section 10.2 adds a manager’s phone call as a condition of verification for some players. An address or phone number in a banned country would surface at that point, and there is no licensing authority on the site to appeal to.

Who owns Vave? The operator and licence trail

This is the weakest part of Vave’s profile, and it is the part our old review got most wrong. Ownership has moved at least once, and the current site has stopped saying who runs it.

Period Operator What the record shows
2022 to 2023 TechOptions Group B.V., Curaçao Named in our 2023 review as the owner under a Curaçao licence; ACMA issued it a formal warning over Vave in its April to June 2023 report
By May 2024 Chestoption Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, Costa Rica The Dutch regulator found the vave.com homepage footer and section 1 of the terms naming Chestoption as the site’s owner when it investigated on 27 May 2024
2025 Chestoption ACMA formal warning for providing prohibited and unlicensed services, naming both Vave and Hell Spin
October 2026 Not stated on the site Footer, terms, privacy policy and About page name no company, licence or regulator

No licence on the site

We read vave.com’s footer, terms and conditions, general bonus terms, privacy policy and About page on 6 October 2026. None of them gave a licence number, the name of a gaming regulator or a clickable licence seal. The terms even send unresolved disputes to “the licensing regulator listed on the Website” (section 12.1), but no regulator is listed. Casinomeister’s review says Vave no longer holds its Curaçao licence and warns that players may be using an unlicensed or very weakly licensed casino. Some review sites list an Anjouan licence or a company called Neomatrix Ltd, but we found nothing on Vave’s own pages to back that up, and an Anjouan licence can only be checked through a seal ID on the operator’s site.

A Costa Rica company registration is not a gambling licence. Costa Rica has no online casino regulator that sets player-protection rules, audits games or hears complaints, so a casino run from there under no other licence gives players very little to fall back on.

Where complaints go

Vave’s terms set out a company-only route. Section 2.5 says complaints must be served in writing on the company’s registered office, and section 2.6 says they must be made within 10 days of when you became aware of the problem, with supporting documents. Section 12.1 adds that server logs and Vave’s own records are the final authority on any disputed result. With no licence shown, there is no regulator and no named alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service to escalate to. Independent mediation services and player forums are the only outside routes, and neither can force a payout.

Regulator actions against Vave

Vave’s enforcement record is short but pointed. Both known operators have drawn formal action, and the Dutch case documents a pattern of switching domains to stay reachable.

Date Authority Action
April to June 2023 (reported August 2023) Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Formal warning to TechOptions Group B.V. for providing a prohibited and unlicensed regulated interactive gambling service (Vave); vave.com appears among the websites referred to internet providers for blocking in that quarter
18 December 2024 Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa), Netherlands Order subject to penalty against Chestoption, after Dutch players could open accounts, deposit and play
5 September 2025 Kansspelautoriteit Decision to collect €840,000 in forfeited penalty payments, because the site was still open to Dutch players in April, May and June 2025
April to June 2025 (reported July 2025) ACMA Formal warning to Chestoption for providing prohibited and unlicensed regulated interactive gambling services (Hell Spin and Vave)
9 June 2026 Kansspelautoriteit Administrative fine of €3,082,000 on Chestoption for offering gambling without a licence through vave.com, vave-luck.com and 67evav55.com

The Dutch case in detail

The Ksa’s fine decision, dated 9 June 2026, is the most detailed public record of how Vave operates. Its investigators opened an account on vave.com from a Dutch address on 27 May 2024, deposited and played slots, and found no technical blocking. A Dutch-language review site linked through to Vave. When the regulator rechecked on 19 August 2024, vave.com redirected Dutch visitors to vave-luck.com; by 28 November 2024 that domain redirected again, to 67evav55.com. The Ksa said Chestoption knew Dutch players were off-limits, because the Netherlands was already on the restricted list in section 3.6 of the terms, and still kept the casino available.

Chestoption did not respond to the regulator’s information demand of 13 February 2025, did not pay the earlier penalty and did not submit a view on the proposed fine. For players, the lesson is simple. A restricted-countries list in the terms only protects you if the operator enforces it, and an operator that rotates domains around a regulator is unlikely to be generous in a payout dispute.

United States

We found no US state cease-and-desist order naming Vave in our October 2026 checks. That fits with Vave blocking US traffic on its main domain. It is not a sign of approval: Vave holds no US state licence and bars US players in its terms.

Is Vave legit?

Vave is a real business that has run since 2022 and pays out to many players; Casinomeister reported complaints through its forums and arbitration service but nothing of specific concern. The problems are structural. There is no licence on the site, the operator is a Costa Rica company that ignored a European regulator, Australia’s ACMA has warned both of its operators, and the Dutch fine shows the brand moving between domains. If you play from a country Vave accepts, keep deposits small, complete verification early and withdraw winnings promptly.

Restricted countries in full

Section 3.6 of the terms names twelve places whose players may not wager real money:

  • Belarus, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania;
  • France, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom;
  • Curaçao and Israel;
  • the United States of America.

Two further limits apply. Section 2.1 bans sports and live betting by anyone located in Russia, and section 3.6 says Canadian players cannot use NYX (NextGen) games. Australia does not appear in the terms, but ACMA treats Vave as a prohibited service and has referred vave.com for blocking, so the brand is not lawful there either. Treat the list as a minimum: section 3.2 says Vave accepts players only from places where online gambling is allowed by law.

Vave bonuses in October 2026

The promotions page, viewed from Canada on 6 October 2026, advertised a four-stage casino welcome package. The old review’s “100% up to 1 BTC + 100 free spins” is out of date.

Deposit Casino bonus Minimum deposit
1st 150% up to 1.5 BTC + 100 free spins 20 USDT
2nd 100% up to 1 BTC 20 USDT
3rd 50% up to 1 BTC 20 USDT
4th 25% up to 0.5 BTC 20 USDT

Sports bettors can take a 100% sports bonus up to 1 BTC on the first deposit instead. Vave’s pages for the second to fourth deposit bonuses describe a 30-day window to wager, and the first-deposit page says you “play slots to unlock the full amount”. The exact wagering multiple sits in each offer’s own terms panel, which did not display in our check, so read it in the deposit window before you accept.

The rules that apply to every casino bonus

  • Live and table games count 0%. General bonus terms section 2.1: slots count 100% (minus a long list of excluded titles), table games and live dealer games do not count at all.
  • Maximum bet 5 USDT while a casino bonus is active (section 1.5), including bonus-round purchases and gamble features. Breaking it lets Vave cancel the bonus and winnings.
  • Winnings cap of 10,000 USDT on deposit, cashback, VIP, weekly and tournament bonuses (section 1.3); anything above is forfeited. Free spins or free bonuses without a deposit cap out at 50 USDT (section 1.2).
  • Real money is played first, then bonus money (section 1.8), and only one bonus can run at a time (section 1.9).
  • Withdrawing early forfeits the bonus. You can take out your deposit before finishing wagering, but the bonus and its winnings go (section 2.6).
  • Bonus ratio rule: if your bonuses exceed 40% of your total wagers, Vave can treat you as a bonus abuser and seize winnings (section 3.4).

Worked example: what the first-deposit bonus costs to clear

Deposit 100 USDT and the 150% match adds 150 USDT, for a 250 USDT balance. Because the multiple was not visible publicly, take two common figures as an illustration. At 35x the bonus you would need to wager 5,250 USDT on eligible slots; at 40x, 6,000 USDT. With the 5 USDT maximum bet, that means at least 1,050 or 1,200 spins at the top stake, and far more at normal stakes. On slots returning 96%, the expected loss over 6,000 USDT of bets is about 240 USDT, more than the bonus is worth. Live blackjack or roulette would not move the total at all.

The deposit rule that applies without a bonus

Section 8.11 of the main terms is easy to miss. Even with no bonus, every deposit must be wagered at least three times on casino or live casino games, or once on sports, before you can withdraw. Deposit 200 USDT and you need 600 USDT of casino bets first. Live dealer bets do count here, so a live player can meet it, but you cannot deposit and withdraw straight back out.

Other promotions

  • Thursday Reload: 100% up to 2,500 USDT on a Thursday deposit of at least 20 USDT.
  • Daily Deposit Casino: 10% of your deposit back as a bonus every day.
  • Weekly Cashback: up to 7% of the week’s net casino losses, paid on Mondays, for VIP level 1 and above.
  • Casino VIP programme: 18 levels, with a top prize Vave puts at 100,000 USDT.
  • Slot Race: 15,000 USDT and 15,000 free spins a month.
  • Fortune Wheel: a spin for registering and depositing.

None of these is aimed at live dealer play. For players who want bonuses that work at the tables, cashback offers at other casinos are usually the better fit, because they return part of your losses whatever you play.

Vave live casino

The live lobby, viewed from Canada on 6 October 2026, is split into Popular, New, Roulette, Blackjack, Game Shows, Baccarat and Poker. The “show all” counts were 100 roulette tables, 59 blackjack, 41 game shows, 37 baccarat and 9 poker games, with 155 titles under New. Five studios supplied every table we could identify: Playtech by a wide margin, then Beter Live, Winfinity, Imagine Live and Live Vegas. Our 2023 review named Evolution as the main provider; no Evolution table appeared in any category we loaded, so do not join expecting Lightning Roulette or Crazy Time. If Evolution is your reason for choosing a casino, read our Evolution Gaming review first.

One display quirk matters. Some live tiles show figures such as “35.94% RTP”, “129.35% RTP” or “195.05% RTP”. Those swing far above and below any game’s theoretical return, so they look like recent results across players over a short window rather than the house edge. A table showing 195% is not a table that pays you back almost double. Judge games by their rules, not by those badges.

Live blackjack

The blackjack section mixes Playtech’s numbered and language tables (Blackjack 1 to 10, Deutsches Blackjack, London Blackjack, Quantum Blackjack Plus and the unlimited-seat Sports Unlimited Blackjack), Winfinity’s Bar, Aqua VIP, Prestige and Venice tables, Live Vegas tables in standard, Deluxe, VIP and Speed versions, Imagine Live’s Gold, VIP and Spanish tables, and Beter Live’s Gravity Blackjack and Grand Bonus Blackjack. A standard game played with basic strategy has a house edge of roughly 0.5%; multiplier variants such as Quantum and Gravity trade a slightly worse base game for random boosted payouts. Our live blackjack guide covers the strategy.

Live roulette

Roulette is the biggest category. Playtech supplies Quantum Roulette, its Virtual Host Quantum Roulette x1000 versions, Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, American Roulette and branded tables such as London Roulette and Hippodrome Live Roulette. Winfinity adds Venice, Opera, Cabaret and Bar Roulette 2000x; Beter Live has Gravity Roulette and Royal Roulette; Imagine Live and Live Vegas run classic, speed and auto wheels. European single-zero roulette carries a 2.70% house edge and American double-zero 5.26%, so pick single-zero wheels. Multiplier games pay less on ordinary straight-up wins to fund the boosts. See our live roulette guide.

Live baccarat and Dragon Tiger

Playtech dominates baccarat with Japanese Squeeze Baccarat, Korean and Gangnam Speed Baccarat, Jade Baccarat, London Baccarat and Fashion TV tables, many also in no-commission (NC) versions. Winfinity’s Tao Yuan and Shangrila tables, Beter Live’s VIP and Grand Bonus Baccarat, and Dragon Tiger from both Playtech and Winfinity fill out the section. In standard baccarat the Banker bet carries about a 1.06% house edge after commission; no-commission tables usually pay only half on a Banker win with a six, which pushes that edge higher. Our baccarat guide explains the variants.

Game shows

The game show section is Playtech-heavy: Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Buffalo Blitz Live Slots, Deal or No Deal The Big Draw, Mega Fire Blaze Lucky Ball, The Greatest Cards Show and several Spin a Win wheels, alongside Beter Live’s Crash Live and The Kickoff, Imagine Live’s Lucky Wheelionaire and Land of Ra, and Winfinity’s Top Card and Rock Paper Scissors. Money wheels typically return less than table games, so treat them as entertainment.

Live poker

The nine poker titles are house-banked games played against the dealer: Casino Hold’em, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Six Card Poker, Russian Poker and Oasis Poker among them, plus Live Vegas’s Texas Hold’em Multiplayer and Beter Live’s Gravity Poker. Bluffing plays no part. Vave has no peer-to-peer poker room.

Slots, Vave Games and the sportsbook

Outside the live casino, Vave runs a large slot lobby with Popular, New, Hits, Bonus Buy, Megaways, Hold and Win, Jackpot and Drops and Wins sections, plus its own Vave Games and crash-style titles. The bonus terms’ exclusion list alone names games from more than 30 studios, including BGaming, Betsoft, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Push Gaming, Red Tiger, Relax, Yggdrasil and Wazdan. Slot tiles show a 24-hour return figure in the same style as the live tiles, with the same caveat: a short-term result, not the game’s theoretical return.

The sportsbook covers pre-match and live betting, racing, a results service and a Copy Bets feature for following other bettors. Sports bettors have their own seven-level VIP programme, a 5% weekly football cashback and a monthly tournament.

Deposits and withdrawals

Vave is a crypto casino. Section 5.1 of the terms allows account balances in eight coins: Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), Tron (TRX), Tether (USDT) and XRP. Most games convert your coins to a euro or dollar value while you play, and bets settle in the crypto equivalent. Players without crypto can buy it in the cashier through MoonPay or another on-ramp, and section 8.5 mentions card payments, though their availability depends on your country and your card issuer. Our 2023 review listed a string of mangled coin names; we have removed them.

Item What Vave’s terms say (October 2026)
Minimum deposit Depends on the method; 20 USDT or equivalent to qualify for a deposit bonus
Before any withdrawal Each deposit wagered 3x on casino or live casino, or 1x on sports (section 8.11)
Processing time “As soon as possible”, up to 3 days for some methods (section 8.1)
Withdrawal limits Set per payment method; amounts above a method’s limit are paid in instalments (section 8.1)
Large wins Wins of 50,000 USDT or more may be paid in equal parts within up to 30 days (section 8.8)
Bank transfer charges Intermediary bank charges limited to the equivalent of 16 USDT (section 8.6)
Closing an account with a balance 12.5 EUR fee for a manual bank transfer (section 8.10)
Inactive accounts After 12 months without a login, 10 USDT a month while the balance is positive (section 11.1)

Our 2023 review said Vave had no withdrawal limits and instant withdrawals. The current terms describe method-based limits, staged payment of big wins and up to three days of processing, so we removed both claims.

Verification and account checks

Sign-up takes an email address, but section 8.7 lets Vave verify your identity before any payout and hold or cancel pending withdrawals while it does. The identity document must show your name, photograph, date of birth and citizenship. Expect some or all of these:

  • photo ID, plus a selfie holding it with your hands visible;
  • another selfie with the ID and a sheet of paper showing the site name and the current date;
  • phone contact from a manager on the number in your account (section 10.2);
  • in some cases, a live video call.

Verification must be finished within 14 days of the request, or the account is closed and winnings are confiscated. One account is allowed per person, family, address, email, IP address and payment method (section 4.1), and duplicate accounts lose bonuses and winnings. Finish verification right after your first deposit rather than when you are trying to cash out.

Responsible gambling tools

Vave’s limits are set through customer support at [email protected] rather than a self-service panel. Section 15.4 of the terms lists daily, weekly or monthly deposit, loss and wager limits; a cooling-off period of 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months, during which you can still withdraw; and self-exclusion for 6 months, 9 months or 1 year, which blocks deposits and withdrawals for the period. You can also ask support to close your access permanently. The terms point to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy for outside help. With no regulator behind the site, nothing outside Vave enforces those limits, so pair them with blocking software and see our responsible gambling guide.

Mobile play

Vave runs in mobile browsers on Android and iOS, including the live casino, and can be saved to a home screen as a web app. Our 2023 review said Vave had native apps in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. We could not confirm that, and real-money gambling apps on both stores need a licence for each market they serve, so we removed the claim.

Customer support

Support runs through live chat on the site and email at [email protected]. There is no phone line. Help pages cover general questions, the sportsbook, crypto basics and betting rules. Keep anything about deposits, verification or withdrawals in writing, because section 2.5 of the terms requires written complaints and section 2.6 sets a 10-day deadline.

Who Vave suits, and who should look elsewhere

Possible fit: experienced crypto players in countries Vave accepts who want a big Playtech-led live lobby, a crypto sportsbook on the same account, and are comfortable keeping small balances at an operator without a visible licence.

Look elsewhere: anyone in the United States or another restricted country; players who want Evolution tables; live dealer players hoping a bonus will help at the tables; and anyone who wants a regulator or ADR body behind their balance. A Dutch fine of more than €3 million, two ACMA warnings and a habit of rotating domains are reasons to keep your exposure low.

Summary

Vave still has a large game library, a decent live lobby built on Playtech and four smaller studios, and a crypto-first cashier. Our 2023 praise has not aged well, though. The site shows no licence and no operating company, its operator was fined €3,082,000 in the Netherlands after rotating through three domains, ACMA has warned both companies behind it, and its live casino no longer carries the Evolution tables we wrote about. Live games count 0% towards bonuses, and every deposit must be played through three times before withdrawal. We now rate Vave 2.5 out of 5 for players in permitted countries.

For US readers the answer is short: Vave bars US players in its terms and blocks US connections on its main domain. Use one of the US-friendly casinos above or, if you live in a state with a live market, a state-licensed casino.

Vave FAQ

Does Vave accept US players?

No. Section 3.6 of Vave’s terms and conditions lists the United States of America among the countries whose players are prohibited from real-money play, and vave.com showed a “not available in your region” page to a US connection on 6 October 2026.

Is Vave legit?

Vave is a real, working crypto casino and sportsbook that launched in 2022, but it is a high-risk choice. Its site showed no licence and no operating company on 6 October 2026, Australia’s ACMA has warned both of its known operators, and the Dutch regulator fined its operator Chestoption EUR 3,082,000 on 9 June 2026 for serving Dutch players without a licence.

Who owns Vave casino?

Regulators name Chestoption Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, a Costa Rica company, as the operator: the Dutch Kansspelautoriteit says the vave.com footer and terms named Chestoption as owner in 2024, and ACMA warned Chestoption over Vave and Hell Spin in 2025. Vave was earlier run by TechOptions Group B.V. of Curacao. The current site does not name any company.

What licence does Vave have?

We could not verify one. On 6 October 2026 Vave’s footer, terms, privacy policy and About page showed no licence number, regulator or seal. Some review sites list an Anjouan licence or Costa Rica registration, but without a seal on the site there is nothing for a player to check.

Can I use a VPN to play at Vave from the US?

You should not. Vave’s terms ban US players from real-money play and say the casino cannot guarantee withdrawals for players who breach the restricted-countries policy, and its verification rules allow selfies, phone calls and video calls before a payout. A US player risks a frozen balance with no regulator to appeal to.

Do live dealer games count towards the Vave bonus?

No. Vave’s general bonus terms say table games and live dealer games do not count towards bonus wagering; only slots count, at 100%, apart from a list of excluded titles.

What are good Vave alternatives for US players?

Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline accepted US players and ran live dealer tables in October 2026. All four are offshore with no US state licence and exclude some states. In the seven states with live online casino markets, state-licensed sites are the regulated choice.

Does Vave require KYC?

Yes, whenever it asks. You can sign up with just an email address, but section 8.7 of Vave’s terms lets it verify your identity before any payout, with photo ID, selfies holding the ID, a phone call or a live video call. Verification must be finished within 14 days of the request, or Vave can close the account and confiscate winnings, so complete it right after your first deposit. Vave does not accept US players.
