Android Live Casino Apps for US Players: What Works in 2026

Which live casinos work on Android in the US: browser play at Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline, MyBookie's APK, and licensed apps on Google Play.

A smartphone on a felt table showing a live dealer stream

Live dealer games work well on Android, but the real-money apps most players expect to find on Google Play do not exist for offshore casinos. As of October 2026, US players outside the regulated states play live blackjack, roulette and baccarat at Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie or BetOnline through Chrome or another Android browser. MyBookie also offers an Android app as a direct APK download from its own site. Google Play only lists real-money casino apps from state-licensed operators, and those apps work only while you are inside a state where they hold a licence.

This guide sets out how each of the four offshore casinos works on an Android phone, which state-licensed live casino apps are on Google Play, how to spot impostor apps that borrow a casino’s name, and how to install an APK without exposing your phone. For iPhone setup and a wider look at playing on a small screen, see our mobile live dealer casinos guide.

Updated October 2026. The earlier version of this page reviewed the Android apps of LeoVegas, Mr Green, Casumo, William Hill, Royal Panda and Guts. Those are UK and European brands that do not accept US players, so they have been removed, and every Android detail below was checked against the operators’ own pages or Google Play listings in October 2026.

State-licensed casinos (BetMGM, FanDuel, Golden Nugget, Fanatics, BetRivers and others) Native Android apps with in-state geolocation Yes, in the states where each is licensed Live dealer tables included in the apps

Lobby counts come from each casino’s live lobby and our reviews, and they change as studios add or close tables. The offshore brands also exclude some states: Bovada does not take players from 19 states plus DC, Ignition excludes Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York, and the full lists are on the cards above.

Why offshore casinos are not on Google Play

Google opened the US Play Store to real-money gambling apps on 1 March 2021, but only for licensed operators. Its current policy requires the developer to be an approved governmental operator or a licensed operator with the gambling authority in the country concerned, to hold “a valid gambling license for each country or state/territory in which the app is distributed”, to complete Google’s application process, to keep under-age users out and to carry an Adults Only rating. The app must also be free to download and may not use Google Play billing.

Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline hold no US state licence, so they fail the first test. That is why none of them has a real-money listing in the US store, and why the two that ship Android software at all (MyBookie and BetOnline’s poker room) distribute it as an APK from their own websites.

Watch out for impostor apps

Search Google Play for a big offshore brand and you will usually find apps using its name. In October 2026, a listing titled “Ignition:Casino Real Money” was live on Google Play from a developer called BEN HAZARD. It is rated Teen, carries a “Simulated Gambling” label, has just over 1,000 downloads and offers casual slot games: it has nothing to do with Ignition and pays nothing out. Other listings using the Bovada and MyBookie names that still appear in web search results now return “not found” on Google Play.

A quick way to tell the difference on Google Play:

  • Genuine real-money apps state which US states they serve and require you to be 21 or over and physically present there. BetMGM’s listing, for example, says you must be 21+ and present in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or West Virginia.
  • They carry a “Real Gambling” content descriptor. A Teen rating with “Simulated Gambling” means there are no cash prizes.
  • The developer name matches the operator or its parent company, such as Rush Street Interactive for BetRivers.
  • Any app that claims to be Bovada, Ignition or MyBookie is not from those operators, because they do not publish on Google Play.

How each offshore casino works on Android

Bovada: browser only, by design

Bovada’s own mobile casino page is unusually direct about apps: “There is no Bovada Casino app available. Our online casino works exclusively from the web.” You type Bovada.lv into the phone’s browser, the site detects the device and loads the mobile layout, and the same account, cashier and Rewards balance carry over from desktop. Bovada says the phone model does not affect the experience as long as it can play video and sound, and that many games ask you to rotate to landscape for a full-screen view.

Two details from Bovada’s mobile FAQ matter at a live table. An incoming call pauses ordinary casino games, but live dealer games run on short betting timers, so a call can make you miss a round. Live games are also the heaviest on data of anything in the casino. The live lobby keeps its tabs for VIP blackjack, blackjack, roulette and baccarat on mobile. Read our Bovada review for limits and payouts.

Ignition: no download on mobile for casino or poker

Ignition’s casino and live dealer lobby run in the Android browser. Its poker room has a downloadable client, but Ignition’s download page offers it for Windows and Mac only; on phones, Ignition says its mobile poker is “Android-friendly for both smartphones and tablets” and that “there’s no additional download required”. Mobile poker players can open up to four cash or tournament tables at once, including Zone Poker and Jackpot Sit and Gos.

For live casino players, the draw is blackjack depth: 48 live blackjack tables plus 10 high-stakes tables on one login that also covers the poker room. Our Ignition review has the full lobby and banking detail, and our real-money poker app guide compares mobile poker options.

MyBookie: the one offshore casino app for Android

MyBookie’s mobile betting page shows Android visitors a “Download App” prompt that links to an APK file on its own server (cdn.mybookie.ag/app.apk). In October 2026 the file was about 3.9 MB, and the download server reported it as last modified on 27 August 2025. The same page also says there is “no need to download an app”, because the full sportsbook and casino run in the browser on iPhone, Android and other devices.

MyBookie markets the app for both its sportsbook and casino. We have not installed it, so we cannot describe how the live lobby behaves inside the app compared with the browser; the tables themselves (more than 60, including 20+ blackjack, 30+ roulette and 14 baccarat with Super 6) are the same. There is no App Store version, so iPhone users play in Safari. MyBookie requires players to be 21 or over. Our MyBookie review covers bonuses and payouts.

BetOnline: browser casino, downloadable poker app

BetOnline’s casino and live dealer lobby run in the mobile browser, with tables from Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios and blackjack limits from $1 to $50,000 a hand. Its poker room is different: betonline.ag/poker/download offers clients for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, and the Android link resolves to a file called pokermobile.apk (about 55 MB, version 72.0.80 in October 2026) on BetOnline’s poker server, not to Google Play. That app is a poker client; for live blackjack, roulette and baccarat, use the browser. More detail is in our BetOnline review.

State-licensed live casino apps on Google Play

Eight states have legalised online casinos; seven markets are live (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island). Maine legalised a tribal-only market (LD 1164, which became law without the governor’s signature in January 2026 and took effect on 29 July 2026) that had not launched as of October 2026. Inside the live states, the licensed operators do publish real-money Android apps on Google Play, and the big ones include live dealer tables.

App on Google Play States named in the listing (October 2026) Live dealer in the listing
BetMGM Casino NJ, PA, MI, WV Yes, “Live Dealer Casino Table Games”
FanDuel Casino NJ, PA, MI, WV Yes, promoted as a live casino
Golden Nugget Online Casino NJ, PA, MI, WV Yes, live dealer blackjack
Fanatics Casino NJ, PA, MI, WV Yes, live dealer options
BetRivers (Rush Street Interactive) Casino and sportsbook states incl. NJ, PA, MI, WV and DE Yes: blackjack, baccarat, roulette, Crazy Time

These apps cost nothing to download, require you to be 21 or over, and check your location before you can wager: you must be physically inside a state where the app is licensed, whatever your home address. Android will ask for location permission on first launch, and play stops if the app cannot confirm where you are. App reviews on Google Play show this is the most common complaint, with players blocked when the location check fails.

The trade-off between the two routes is straightforward:

Offshore casino in a browser State-licensed app
Where you can play Most states, except each brand’s excluded list Only inside a state where the app is licensed
How you get it Browser; MyBookie also offers an APK Google Play
Regulator if a payout goes wrong None in the US The state gaming regulator
Main deposit methods Crypto and cards Cards, bank transfer, PayPal and others, depending on the operator
Minimum age 18 at Bovada, Ignition and BetOnline; 21 at MyBookie 21

If you live in a regulated state, the licensed app is the safer choice, because a state regulator stands behind your balance. Maryland residents can also use the free-to-play Live! Social Casino, which has its own Android app.

How to set up live dealer play on Android

For the three browser-only casinos, and for MyBookie if you would rather not install anything, setup takes about two minutes:

  1. Open Chrome and type the casino’s address yourself (bovada.lv, ignitioncasino.eu, mybookie.ag or betonline.ag). Avoid links from ads, texts or emails, because lookalike phishing domains are common.
  2. Log in or register, then complete identity checks early so the first withdrawal is not held up.
  3. Open Chrome’s three-dot menu and choose “Add to Home screen”. You get an icon that opens the casino in one tap, which is most of what an app would give you.
  4. Go to the live dealer lobby, open a table and set the stream quality in the table menu. Lower it if the video stutters.
  5. Test the betting panel in both portrait and landscape before you place a real bet. Most studios show more of the table in landscape.

Phone settings that help a live stream

  • Wi-Fi first. A stable Wi-Fi connection beats mobile data for a continuous stream, and it avoids data charges.
  • Data Saver off for Chrome. Android’s Data Saver can restrict background data and slow a stream that is already running.
  • Battery saver off during play. Aggressive battery modes can throttle the browser and drop the connection mid-round.
  • Do Not Disturb on. Live rounds run on betting timers, so a pop-up or call can cost you a decision.
  • Keep Chrome and Android updated. Studios build their players for current browsers, and updates also patch security holes.

If a stream freezes mid-hand, the round still finishes at the studio and the result is settled to your balance. Our guide to interrupted live games explains how each type of game handles a lost connection.

How to install a casino APK safely

Installing an APK means allowing an app from outside Google Play, a step Android blocks by default. If you choose MyBookie’s app or BetOnline’s poker client, follow these steps:

  1. Download the file only from the operator’s own page, reached by typing the address yourself. Never install an APK sent by a “host”, a Telegram group or a support chat.
  2. When Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps for that one install (Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps on most phones).
  3. Install the app, then switch the “Install unknown apps” permission off again for the browser.
  4. Keep Google Play Protect turned on. Google says it checks apps from other sources too, warns about harmful ones and can disable or remove them.
  5. Check the permissions the app requests. A betting app has no reason to read your SMS or contacts.
  6. Remember that APKs do not update through Google Play. Re-download newer versions from the same official page when the app asks.

One change to watch: Google is introducing developer verification for Android apps, including those installed outside Google Play. Protections began on 30 September 2026 for certified devices in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, and Google says verification will expand globally in 2027, with an “advanced flow” for users who still want to install apps from unverified developers. Whether offshore casino APKs keep installing smoothly in the US after that depends on whether their developers register. The browser route is not affected.

Which live games suit an Android phone

Screen size changes which games are comfortable. Live baccarat is the easiest: three main betting spots and no decisions after the deal. Live blackjack works well too, but the decision timer is short, so turn notifications off and keep your thumb near the action buttons. On a typical eight-deck baccarat table, the Banker bet carries a 1.06% house edge, Player 1.24% and Tie (8:1) 14.36%, per Wizard of Odds, and none of that changes on a phone.

Live roulette is harder on a small screen because the betting grid is dense. Most studios answer this with a pop-up grid and a racetrack panel for call bets, which is easier to use in landscape. Game shows such as Dream Catcher and Lightning Roulette are built with mobile players in mind, with large bet buttons and the wheel kept on screen, though which studios each offshore casino carries varies (see the reviews). Our live dealer games hub covers every game type and its rules.

Banking from an Android phone

Deposits and withdrawals work from the mobile cashier at all four offshore casinos; Bovada confirms that both can be made straight from a smartphone. Most US offshore players use crypto, which on Android usually means a wallet app: you copy the casino’s deposit address, paste it into the wallet and double-check the network before sending. Credit and debit cards also work at these sites, though banks decline some gambling transactions. Our guides to Bitcoin live casinos and US credit card deposits cover fees, limits and payout times. PayPal is available only at state-licensed casinos, as explained in our PayPal guide.

Bonuses and live dealer games on mobile

Playing on a phone does not change bonus rules, and those rules are poor for live dealer players at all four offshore brands. Live dealer games count 0% towards Bovada’s rollover and bonus funds cannot be used at live tables; Ignition’s casino bonus also counts live dealer games at 0%; MyBookie excludes live dealer games from bonus wagering; and BetOnline’s casino bonuses exclude baccarat, roulette, sic bo and craps, while its current welcome offer is sportsbook Free Bets plus casino free spins. None of the four advertises an app-only or mobile-only bonus. If you mainly play live tables, it is usually better to play without a bonus so withdrawals are not tied to rollover. Our bonus guide works through the maths.

Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline are offshore operators with no US state licence, and each excludes some states (see the cards above). Regulators have acted against them: the Massachusetts Attorney General sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bovada’s operators on 3 October 2024, the Michigan Gaming Control Board ordered MyBookie to cease operations, and Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts issued cease-and-desist orders to BetOnline in 2025. If an offshore site withholds a payout, there is no state regulator to complain to, and your funds are not protected by a US licence. Keep balances modest, verify your account early and withdraw regularly.

Using an Android phone adds a few risks of its own: sideloaded apps, fake store listings and phishing links. Stick to the operator’s own domain, keep Play Protect on, use a unique password, and turn on any two-step verification the casino offers. Our page on live casino security goes further, and are live casinos rigged? explains how live studios are audited.

Responsible gambling on Android

A live table in your pocket is open around the clock, so set limits before you start. Android’s Digital Wellbeing lets you put a daily app timer on Chrome or on a casino app, after which the app is paused until midnight. Combine that with deposit limits in the casino’s account settings or through support. If gambling stops being fun, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is free, confidential and open 24/7 on 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). Our responsible gambling page lists self-exclusion options and other support.

How we chose these casinos

The list uses the same four US-facing operators we review in full, scored on licence and track record, live lobby depth, banking speed, bonus terms for live players and customer support, as set out in how we rate casinos. For this page we also checked, on each operator’s own site through a US connection in October 2026, how it delivers its games to Android: browser, APK or neither. We did not include any casino that does not accept US players, and no brand pays to change its position.

Android live casino FAQ

Can you play live dealer games on an Android phone?

Yes. Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline all run their live blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables in Chrome or another Android browser, with the same account and cashier as on desktop. In the seven states with live regulated markets, state-licensed casino apps on Google Play also carry live dealer tables while you are inside the state.

Is there a real-money Bovada or Ignition app on Google Play?

No. Bovada’s own mobile casino page says there is no Bovada Casino app and that the casino works exclusively from the web. Ignition’s casino and poker room also run in the mobile browser with no download. Listings on Google Play that use these brand names are not from the operators; one titled “Ignition:Casino Real Money” is a Teen-rated simulated slots game from an unrelated developer.

Which offshore casino has an Android app?

MyBookie links an Android APK (cdn.mybookie.ag/app.apk) from its mobile betting page, and BetOnline offers a downloadable Android client for its poker room from betonline.ag/poker/download. Neither is distributed through Google Play. Bovada and Ignition have no Android app; their casinos run in the browser.

Why are offshore casinos not on the Google Play Store?

Google Play only accepts real-money gambling apps from operators that hold a valid licence for each country or state where the app is distributed, pass Google’s application process and block users outside the licensed area. Offshore casinos serving US players hold no US state licence, so they cannot list a real-money app in the US store.

Is it safe to install a casino APK on Android?

Only if it comes from the operator’s own website, typed in yourself, never from a link in a text, email or social post. You must allow your browser to install unknown apps, which you should switch off again afterwards. Keep Google Play Protect on, because it also scans apps installed from outside Google Play.

Do I need an app to play live casino games on Android?

No. Live dealer games are streamed video with a betting panel on top, and they run fully in a modern Android browser. An app mainly adds a home-screen icon and notifications, and you can get a one-tap shortcut by using Chrome’s “Add to Home screen” option.

Only while you are physically inside a state where that app is licensed. Apps such as BetMGM, FanDuel and Golden Nugget check your location before every session and block real-money play outside NJ, PA, MI or WV (or the other live states where they hold a licence). Residency does not matter; location does.

How much mobile data does live casino use?

More than any other casino game, because you are watching a continuous video stream. Bovada’s mobile FAQ says live dealer games use the most data of all its games. Play on Wi-Fi where you can, and if you must use mobile data, pick a lower video quality in the table settings.
