Baccarat Squeeze is Evolution’s live baccarat table where the cards are revealed slowly, a corner at a time, instead of being turned over at once. The rules, payouts and odds are exactly those of standard Punto Banco: eight decks, Banker pays 0.95:1, Player 1:1 and Tie 8:1, with a Banker return of 98.94% (a 1.06% house edge). Evolution runs two versions: Live Baccarat Squeeze, where the dealer squeezes the cards on camera, and Baccarat Control Squeeze, where you peel back the cards yourself on screen.
Updated October 2026. This version replaces the old casino list, which named sites that do not accept US players, and adds Evolution’s published payouts and return-to-player figures for every bet.

How Live Baccarat Squeeze Works
Evolution describes its Squeeze table as a multi-camera game for players who love the ritual of the squeeze, with more than 15 cameras following the action. The dealer deals two hands, Player and Banker, from an eight-deck shoe, exactly as at a normal table. Only the reveal is different.
According to Evolution, the dealer quickly turns over the cards for whichever hand carries the smaller total wager across all players at the table, then squeezes the cards of the hand with the bigger total wager. Squeezing means bending the card and exposing it edge by edge, so you see the pips appear one row at a time before the full value is shown. At that moment the stream cuts to a close-up.
After the first four cards, the usual third-card rules apply, and any third card can be squeezed as well. Nothing about the squeeze changes which card is next in the shoe. It changes only when you find out.
Baccarat Control Squeeze: You Do the Squeeze
In Control Squeeze, Evolution hands the reveal to the player. The cards are dealt face down onto glass panels set into a custom table, and two cameras built in under the table film the real card faces. Your screen shows those faces behind an overlay mask, and you click or tap on a corner or edge of each card to peel the mask back.
The rules published for the game add three details:
- You can squeeze only the hand you have bet on, Player or Banker. Cards in the other hand can be revealed instantly with a click.
- Squeezing is allowed only during a set time in each round. When it runs out, the cards are shown anyway.
- Evolution says new players can practise the squeeze without placing a bet, which makes the table a low-pressure way to learn the interface.
Every player at the table sees their own squeeze, so one slow peeler does not hold up anyone else. The result is the same for everyone because it comes from the physical cards under the glass.
Baccarat Squeeze Rules
Both Squeeze tables follow standard Punto Banco rules. Aces count 1, cards 2 to 9 count face value, and tens and picture cards count 0. Only the last digit of a total matters, so 7 + 9 = 16 is a hand of 6.
- Bet on Player, Banker or Tie before the timer ends. Side bets are optional.
- Two cards go to each hand.
- If either hand has 8 or 9 (a natural), no more cards are drawn.
- Otherwise the Player hand draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7.
- Next, the Banker draws or stands according to its own total and the Player’s third card. If the Player stood, the Banker draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7.
- The hand closest to 9 wins. On a tie, Player and Banker bets are returned.
The full Banker drawing chart, with a worked hand, is in our live baccarat guide. You never have to apply it yourself; the dealer and software do.
Baccarat Squeeze Payouts and RTP
These are the payouts and return-to-player (RTP) figures in the Evolution rules for Baccarat Squeeze. House edge is 100% minus RTP.
| Bet | Pays | RTP | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banker | 0.95:1 | 98.94% | 1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | 98.76% | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 85.64% | 14.36% |
| P Pair / B Pair | 11:1 | 89.64% | 10.36% |
| Perfect Pair | 25:1 one hand, 200:1 both hands | 91.95% | 8.05% |
| Either Pair | 5:1 | 86.29% | 13.71% |
| P Bonus | Up to 30:1 | 97.35% | 2.65% |
| B Bonus | Up to 30:1 | 90.63% | 9.37% |
Wizard of Odds gives the same main-bet figures for eight-deck baccarat: Banker 1.06%, Player 1.24% and Tie at 8:1 14.36%.
P Bonus and B Bonus pay table
Both Bonus bets pay when your chosen hand wins on a natural or wins by at least four points. A bigger margin means a bigger payout:
| Result for your hand | Pays |
|---|---|
| Non-natural win by 9 points | 30:1 |
| Non-natural win by 8 points | 10:1 |
| Non-natural win by 7 points | 6:1 |
| Non-natural win by 6 points | 4:1 |
| Non-natural win by 5 points | 2:1 |
| Non-natural win by 4 points | 1:1 |
| Natural win | 1:1 |
| Natural tie | Push |
The same schedule is known elsewhere as the Dragon Bonus; our Dragon Bonus baccarat review explains it in more depth. On the Player side it is one of the cheaper side bets in baccarat. On the Banker side it costs more than three times as much.
Side-bet caps
Evolution’s rules limit some side bets relative to your main stake. Perfect Pair and the two Bonus bets cannot exceed half of your combined main bet. Once 312 cards have been dealt from the shoe, each side bet is capped at 20% of the combined main bet. If a side bet will not accept your chips late in a shoe, that is the reason.
Does the Squeeze Change the Odds?
No. The order of the cards is fixed once the shoe is shuffled. A slow reveal, a fast reveal or a reveal you control yourself all show the same card, so the house edge on each bet is identical to a standard Evolution baccarat table.
What does change is the pace. Squeezing takes extra seconds, so you play fewer hands per hour than at a Speed Baccarat table, which Evolution times at about 27 seconds a round against 48 seconds for standard baccarat. Fewer hands at the same stake means a lower average cost per hour, which is one practical argument for a squeeze table if you enjoy the drama.
Worked example: what each bet costs per hand
Take a $25 stake on each option and apply the house edges above:
- Banker: $25 x 1.06% = about $0.27 per hand on average.
- Player: $25 x 1.24% = about $0.31.
- P Bonus: $25 x 2.65% = about $0.66.
- P Pair: $25 x 10.36% = about $2.59.
- Tie: $25 x 14.36% = about $3.59.
Over 50 hands, a Banker bettor expects to lose about $13; a player who adds a $25 Tie bet every hand expects to lose about $193 more. The squeeze adds tension, not value, so the bet you choose matters far more than the reveal.
Where US Players Can Find Baccarat Squeeze
Evolution sells its tables only to licensed operators. In the US that means state-licensed online casinos, which stream Evolution games from studios inside the regulated states. Eight states have legalised online casinos; seven markets are live (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island), and Maine legalised a tribal-only market (LD 1164: became law without the governor’s signature in January 2026, effective 29 July 2026) that had not launched as of October 2026. Each licensed casino chooses which Evolution tables to carry, so check the lobby: a site can offer Evolution baccarat without offering a Squeeze table.
The four offshore casinos we list across this site do not carry Evolution, and none showed a squeeze table when we checked their live lobbies in October 2026:
| Casino | Live baccarat on offer (October 2026) | Squeeze table |
|---|---|---|
| Bovada | 15 tables labelled Gold Tier Gaming and Dynamite Interactive: Baccarat, Speed, Turbo and Super 6 | No |
| Ignition | Classic baccarat and Super 6 in a 23-game card lobby | No |
| MyBookie | 14 tables including Speed, Turbo, All In and two Super 6 tables | No |
| BetOnline | About a dozen Visionary iGaming and Fresh Deck Studios tables, including Speed, Turbo and All In | No |
Because no US-accepting offshore site we review offers a verified squeeze table, this page carries no casino list. If you want the slow reveal outside the regulated states, the closest you will get at these sites is a standard or Super 6 table; our Super 6 guide covers that game and its 1.46% Banker edge.
A word on risk: Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie and BetOnline are offshore and hold no US state licence. If a payout is disputed there is no state regulator to complain to, and your balance is not protected. The Massachusetts Attorney General sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bovada’s operators on 3 October 2024, and the Michigan Gaming Control Board has ordered MyBookie to stop serving Michigan players. Our rating method explains how we weigh these risks.
Why Players Like the Squeeze
Squeezing comes from Asian high-limit baccarat rooms, where the player with the biggest bet is traditionally handed the cards to bend and reveal. Evolution calls the Control Squeeze table “Macau-like”, and the appeal is the same: a near coin-flip game gets a few seconds of genuine suspense before every result.
There are practical upsides too. The slower pace suits players who want a long session on a fixed budget, and the close-up cameras make it easy to follow every card. The downside is time: if you want volume, a Speed table deals many more hands per hour, and that also costs more per hour at the same stake.
Tips for Playing Baccarat Squeeze
- Bet Banker by default. At 1.06% it is the cheapest bet on the table, even after the 5% commission.
- Skip the Tie. The 8:1 payout carries a 14.36% house edge, more than 13 times the Banker bet.
- If you want a side bet, pick P Bonus. At 2.65% it costs far less than the pair bets or the Banker-side Bonus.
- Check the limits first. Each casino sets its own minimum and maximum; open the Bet Limits panel before you sit down.
- Do not read meaning into the roads. The bead plate and big road record past results; they cannot predict the next hand. Our Golden Secret baccarat strategy article explains why pattern systems fail.
- Set a session budget. Decide what you can afford to lose before the first squeeze, and see our responsible gambling page if the game stops being fun.

Baccarat Squeeze FAQ
What is Baccarat Squeeze?
It is live baccarat in which the cards are revealed slowly by bending them, rather than being turned over at once. Evolution’s Live Baccarat Squeeze has the dealer squeeze the cards on camera; the rules and payouts are the same as standard baccarat.
What is the difference between Baccarat Squeeze and Control Squeeze?
In Baccarat Squeeze the dealer performs the squeeze. In Control Squeeze the cards are dealt face down onto glass panels, cameras under the table film them, and you peel back an on-screen mask to reveal the cards of the hand you bet on.
Does squeezing the cards change the odds?
No. The cards come from a shuffled shoe in a fixed order, so the reveal style cannot change them. Banker keeps its 1.06% house edge, Player 1.24% and Tie 14.36%.
What is the RTP of Baccarat Squeeze?
Evolution lists 98.94% for Banker, 98.76% for Player and 85.64% for Tie. Side bets range from 97.35% for P Bonus down to 86.29% for Either Pair.
How many decks are used in Baccarat Squeeze?
Eight standard 52-card decks, according to the Evolution rules for the game.
Can US players play Baccarat Squeeze?
Evolution tables are available at state-licensed online casinos in the regulated states, though each casino chooses whether to carry the Squeeze tables. None of the offshore sites we review (Bovada, Ignition, MyBookie, BetOnline) showed a squeeze table in October 2026.
