Rules of Dealing the Cards in Live Dealer Super 6

The game uses a six-deck shoe. The tens and face cards do not have any value. Ace through nine has face values. Ace is worth one and nine is worth nine. The suits have no relevance in Super 6. Every value is confined to a single digit. Say the value of two cards exceeds nine and hence is effectively ten or higher then only the count on the right is factored into the game. If the value of the two cards is seventeen then you would have a count of seven. If you have three cards amounting to twenty-seven then also you would have a value of seven. The number on the left is discarded regardless. A hand in Super 6 can be a maximum of three cards. There is no provision in the rules to deal the fourth card.

live super 6 for usa playersThe game begins with players going for a particular type of bet. It could be banco, punto or egalite. The player and the banker would pay equal money, which is basically a ratio of one to one. The only time when the banker shall pay less, half to be precise, is if they have a count of six. A tie bet is usually eight to one. The objective of the game is simple. A player must view for a count of nine. This is the maximum points one can have in one hand and it is the clear winner. Of course, the counts can be anywhere from one to nine so the winning chances vary and so do the rewards.

A dealer will draw two cards to the player and then two cards to the banker. The third card is dealt to the player and the banker or only to the player depending on the set of applicable rules. The third card is automatic in specific circumstances so there is no discretion really. Let us get familiar with the third card rule in Super 6.

Super 6 Third Card Rules for Player

If the players or the banker has eight or nine as the total value of the two cards drawn at first then the third card is not drawn. The hand is classified as natural and the round is over. If the count of the cards is five or less than five for the player, then the third card is drawn. If the count is six or over then the player may not draw the third card and the banker will draw the third card if their hand is valued at five or less. In case the player draws the third card, then a specific third card rule for the banker will come into effect.

Super 6 Third Card Rules for Banker

  • Banker draws the third card if the count of the first two cards is two or less. This is regardless of the count or value of the third card drawn by the player.
  • Banker draws the third card if the count is three unless the third card of the player was eight.
  • Banker draws the third card if the count is four unless the third card of the player was zero, one, eight or nine.
  • Banker draws the third card if the count is five unless the third card of the player was four, five, six or seven.
  • Banker draws the third card if the count is six unless the third card of the player was not a six or seven.
  • The banker does not draw the third card if the count is seven.

The live dealer will enforce this rule and then the winning hand will be determined. The hand with a count closest to nine or exactly nine will win.

Side Bets in Super 6

The first side bet is the insurance bet for players against the hand of six of the banker which reduces the bet of the latter by half. A player can go for the side bet and basically say that the banker will have a hand wherein the total count will be six. This will enable the player to win twelve to one if that happens. Side bet can be placed by clicking 6 that is circled to the right of the bet area.

Dragon Bonus Side Bet

There is a side bet called Dragon Bonus in Super 6. This bet is for a hand that is an undisputed natural winner. It is also applicable if one hand wins by four points or more. Natural winners would pay the same money using this Dragon Bonus rule but if the points are equal then the bet pushes. The payout is basically proportional to the difference in the points in both hands. If the difference is much greater than four, then the payout is also substantially more. If a hand wins by nine points then the payout is thirty to one. There is a detailed payout table for Dragon Bonus side bet. You can check this out at the tab that says Dragon Payout.

Player Pair, Banker Pair and Either Pair side Bets

There are three kinds of perfect pair side bets. There is a Banker Pair wherein the first two cards drawn to the banker should be a pair. The payout is eleven to one. The second option is Player Pair, which has the same applicable rule and the same payout ratio. The third type of side bet is called Either Pair. Either of the two can have a pair and the payout is five to one. These side bets must be placed by choosing Player Pair, Banker Pair or Either Pair.
